Newly Diagnosed Prostate Cancer. Gleason score 9, PSA 1.4 at age 58.
SO glad to have found this Forum! I guess I have a rare form of PC that does not report PSA. This summer started having problems peeing, like blocked at times. Google told me it was BPH and started taking some natural supplements. 45 days later finally called Teledoc, and was put on Flomax.

Anyone had cataract surgery while taking Flomax?
In addition to my ADT meds for my APC, I am taking tamsulosin (Flomax) for BPH. I have scheduled cataract surgery for January but have learned there may be adverse effects because of the Flomax. Have any of you had the surgery and with what results? I will speak to my opthamologist in early January

Questions for the RO for my upcoming video conference regarding options for early salvage treatment (and ADT) after Radical Prostatectomy?
I had my radical prostatectomy (RP) on 6/3/2019. Given my pathological results (see below for details) and the definite trend in my PSA levels over the last 18 months (see graph below), my surgeon now thinks I should pursue early salvage radiation therapy and I agree, but now trying to decide on the

4 months with painful urination after brachytherapy
I had LDR brachytherapy 4 months ago for prostate cancer. I am still having incredible pain when I pee, urgency and unable to empty my bladder even though I am on flomax. Has anyone else had this problem what did you do about it and does it get better as the radiation dies down

Viagra and finasteride
I'm 75 and taking finasteride for several years. I also take 100 mg losartan for high blood pressure and flomax. I'm not sure if one or all of these in combination is to blame, but I only get slightly erected when aroused. I won't get into it but a combination of weight gain and small size penis

HDR Brachytherapy at UCLA
I had my 2 procedures of HDR Brachytherapy (monotherapy) on 2-7-20 & 2-14-20. I had some really bad burning during urination for about 2 weeks, but the Pyridium saved me. I was also prescribed Flomax for one month, which was a big help. I have no incontinence and expect no ED, but was in pain urinating

All prostate cancer questions?
1. Has anyone ever had TURP surgery to help with urinating issues due to prostate cancer? If yes can you share your experience? Has anyone had grest success from it, than start having issues months after? Do you continue taking taking Flomax, if the TURP was a success? 2. Has anyone experienced nausea

Retrograde Ejaculation
Has anyone else had problems with retrograde ejaculation after a radical prostatectomy? I was prescribed Flomax, but I think that only makes it worse. After orgasm I feel like I have a urinary tract infection and have to pee small amounts of urine every 10 minutes, sometimes for hours! I had my prostatectomy
