Amlodipine and heart arrhythmias
My husband takes Amlodipine for mildly raised BP and for about 2 hours after taking it his heart performs badly. Until recently, it was merely a slightly raised rate and PAC's, but in the last week his rate is 50% higher than normal, massive amounts of PAC's and PVC's and Kardia shows 'possible AF

stress test concerns
I am about to do a stress test on treadmill but worried about it because I am not that fit or young, and have a history of pvcs and atrial fib. I am concern about the pace of it since I don’t want to kick off these issues and coming off beta blockers for 48 hours is a concern! How hard to do they push

PVCs with anxiety or anxiety with PVCs.
I am sooooooo tired of living with PVCs which flare up with my anxiety or wait did I just feel my heart flip flop and now I am anxious? Echo clear, blood pressure good, don't do caffine, well hydrated. Docs said once get your anxiety under control. Don't want to be on meds for pvcs. When I am so calm

Heart Palpitations since I was 9 years old
Hi--I have been on this site before with my story . My story is 62 years long! Since I was 9 I have had heart palpitations. I have had them checked out many times. The most recent was about a year ago when I had a full work up with a cardiologist and they say my heart is extraordinarily in good shape

Atrial Trigeminy, PVCs and everything imbetween
I am now actually quite scared as for the past 24 hours I am showing I am having runs of Atrial Trigmeminy, not all the time I don't know if the anxiety is making it worse. I feel like light headed with worry but I don't know if it is the metoprolol as I upped the dose yesterday, but for the past 4

Ectopics scaring me, lasting longer than usual.
This past week, for 3 days, I had almost continuous ectopics and for the first time, they even lasted all night which really scared me. I went to the A&E, the ECG was "normal" but during the 4 hours I was there, the telemetry did pick up ectopics. The doctor said there was nothing to raise a red flag

PVCs anyone?
Hello all, I just came across this excellent research paper on PVC ablation. It is quite technical but still very readable: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10624548/ Best wishes.

Palpitations after ablation
Hi, I had my ablation 4 weeks ago for PVCs. First 2 weeks no palpitations. After 14 days I started to have high burden of PACs. They can come in singles, couples or up to 3 times in a row. Almost every 10 sec. They are very active since they showed up about 14 days after the ablation. Did anyone

PVC/ PACs
I’m using a Kardia six lead. Virtually every single one of my ECG s is coming back PVC. Has anyone else experienced this. It started a couple of weeks ago I’m currently fighting off the remains of a chest. The cardiologist I spoke to suggested I take carvidilol for short time to see if it helps.

Looking for advice on what feels like chains of ectopic heartbeats?
I used to have Wolf Parkinson White, which would occur with SVT runs and ectopic heartbeats which could be quite painful and alarming. My fear was always the ectopics, they'd cause such sudden pangs in my chest that my brain processed them as dangerous. However, it was a fast run in my sleep that then

Pvcs and pacs following acute afib episode and Apple watch ecg/ekg
Following my first (confirmed) afib attack a month ago(with rvr) I seem to have an occasional flip flop or thud and flutter from my heart. Cardiologist and EP discontinued my beta blocker after 10 days because my HR is already low and the flip flopping came a few days later. Yesterday I discovered

emphysema results
hi everyone I have emphysema . Just had a spirometry test and my results are Fev1 =50%/1.16 Fev1/Fev6 =0.67/87% fev6 =62% how bad is this? Does it mean I only have half lung capacity? How is everyone managing at this level?

Stopping Sotolol after ablation - fast HR and breathless
Hello, I am an ablation for Paroxysmal AFib and Flutter on 11th July. All went well. As well as AFib I used to get long periods ( a week or more) of other arrhythmia -PACs, SVTs, PVCs. They told me the ablation might not help stop these. During the 3 month blanking period, had some days of chest
