Bendamustine vs FCR
He is suggesting that Bendamustine with Rituximab will be a better option for me than
FCR
because of some particular presentation of my condition. Does anyone have experience of Bendamustine to share? Thanks

Fitness during and after FCR treatment
I now find myself, next week, requiring a 6 x 1month treatment with
FCR
. Can anyone help me please with future expectations regarding fitness? I don't know how the drugs will effect me during treatment or the future! Kind regards, Robbie

Post-inactivity muscle pain when walking.
I had chemo (
FCR
) in 2015 and tomorrow my chest infection will be 1 year old - I've baked it a Birthday cake (any excuse).

After Ibrutinib failure, lymphocytes up again. Maybe another trial with Idealisib
(insurance would also be an issue) SO I guess I would have to accept
FCR
instead..... I know there are other new treatments, Venetoclax and Acalabrutinib for example, but not available on NHS. Any thoughts, dear CLL chums? Merry Xmas and bon courage to all.

Daughter of Newly Diagnosed CLL Patient - 3 Weeks Until Chemotherapy - Any information greatly appreciated!
6) If he is non-mutated, should I be advocating strongly for treatment other than
FCR
(if that is what his doctor recommends) despite his age and generally good physical fitness?

FCR/UNmutated IGVH
Any unmutated IGVH fellow CLLers out there ever do
FCR
as frontline? I ask please for responses to this direct question...not commentary on the topic in general. Thanks!

IBRUTINIB - for 21 months, now stopped
After
FCR
failure, I was put on Ibrutinib. This did its work and I was on the miracle drug for 21 months. Then suddenly my kidney function deteriorated dramatically and my blood calcium level became raised so my CLL consultant took me off Ibrutinib in June (bloods normal at that stage).

How remission is decided...
I saw my consultant last week, 2 weeks after completing 6 rounds of
FCR
. He is delighted with the scan results post round 4 and has said they are as near to normal as they could be. He is repeating the ct scan in Feb after I have recovered from the chrmo in order to have a new baseline.

Low phosphate levels
just completed round 1 of
FCR
,and so far so good!! The only worry is low phosphate levels? Anyone else had this and any problems associated with this , as far as I understand it could be kidney related?

Painful scalp during chemo
I have now had 4 cycles of
FCR
and although my hair is thinning a lot (fortunately I had very thick hair to start with) , I haven't actually lost it. However, I have very painful patches on my scalp & wondered if anyone has any remedies for this.

Disappointing day...
As you may know, my husband went through 6 treatments
FCR
ending December 2015 after 4 1/2 years W&W. Came through it like a champ, had BMB late August this year.
