I have CLL and had my first

Preliminary report on B1 HDT trial -
Hi all, A full detailed report will be posted if and when I achieve a month of improvement. I've finally stabilized with sinemet cr 5x 200 and 10mg requip xl after 2 yr of drug adjustments and changes. I'm 10 yr post dx and would describe my symptoms as severe and poorly controlled. I'm rigidity

Stilgenbauer discusses the practice changing significance of this study that proved that ibrutinib and rituximab was superior to
FCR
for both overall and progression free survival for frontline patients <70 years old..

Went through aggressive chemo,
FCR
. In my case the sickness now supposedly in remission but continued to make me critically ill even when it was over. If fact, I was in and out of ICU like a revolving door. Intubated, forced oxygen, sepsis, respiratory failures, and various types of pneumonia.

On period for Parkinson's with alternative medicine
Hi I'm here to learn from anybody approaching Parkinson's treatment differently! I hate Western medicine not minding how my neurologist feel about it! I prefer alternative medicine and currently on Zandopa with green tea which gives me 3 hours on time! Recently I started adding sinemet CR to the Mucuna

FCR or BR proposed for second round of treatment in London
So I am now being offered
FCR
or BR. A year or so ago I was told there were still plenty of other options. If this is all that is available OK. But I wonder what others think re NHS options at this stage? Thanks as ever. Greetings and good future wishes to all.

Chemo-Free Treatment Best Option for CLL Patients Under 70
Results of the phase III ECOG trial found that the combination of ibrutinib (Imbruvica) plus rituximab (Rituxan) came out superior to the chemotherapy and immunotherapy (chemoimmunotherapy) grouping of fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, and rituximab, known as

Sinamet CR providing no relief
My Mom has PD and has been taking C-L with relative stability, but would go through "off-times" routinely 2 hours after taking her meds. IR vs FCR - PFS Sub-Group Analysis
Thanks to twitter users posting slides from the late-breaking ASH 2018 presentation! In all sub-groups IR was better. I presume the dotted vertical line is the indicator of statistical significance. https://twitter.com/TeamHaem/status/1069990083946733568

My Dana-Farber Trial Update
I’m IGVH unmutated, so this trial should provide significant benefit to me in comparison to
FCR
. For those new to CLL, don’t be afraid. Find the best CLL specialist you can. Learn. Advocate for yourself. These can be hopeful times.

90 days on Ibrutinib
As a CLL sufferer since 2007 and having gone through the aggressive
FCR
the change in treatment looks promising for the future PROVIDING funding is still in place for both research and the prescribing of any new treatment to patients.

First Cycle of FCR (IV)
Because of my age the Hemo Dr. decided
FCR
would get me the best outcome for the longest period of the time in remission. I have read up on this and decided ok. Started First
FCR
Cycle last Wednesday and Day 1 was rough. I went into Chemo shock with the Rituxan drug FC drugs went ok.

Chemo cycles
I am on the Flair trial having

and have now had three cycles fourth one today and my bloods are back to normal white cell count and platelets are a perfect score , so I asked the question why then do I need more chemo and the answer is simple, all six cycles are recommended to ensure that all traces
