Hair falling out with Piqray?
My oncology nurse said it more likely the
faslodex
/fulvestrant - but I've been on that for over 3 years and the hair loss seems to have started more around the time I started taking Piqray .... and hair loss IS one of the symptoms! I've had to cut my hair short to help make it look fuller.

Side effects of Ibrance and faslodex
Hi I am on 100 mg of Ibrance and
faslodex
monthly injections and about to start zometa monthly infusions. I have been on treatment about 10 months with Mets to the bone. My initial breast cancer was 6 years ago. I had radiation and chemo at that time.

Bone scan on Thursday showing Slight uptake in L2 L3 and L5
I feel fine otherwise and I’m reluctant to add ibrance or
Faslodex
as I have eye surgery scheduled in a couple of weeks. I see. My Oncologist in another week but his view last time was that the cancer was hiding somewhere so I feel he will nudge me to make a change.

Just a quick question: I'm getting my first Xgeva shot tomorrow...is it anything like
Faslodex
? Don't know what to expect.

Faslodex Versus Zeloda?
My oncologist wants me to start on
Faslodex
. She notes that I have a skinny bum. Because of the knowledge I have gained from you all on this forum, I, of course, know about the trials for liquid
Faslodex
. That slowed her down and she is looking into it.

Ibrance following SBRT to 2 bone mets
She is currently on
faslodex
and xgeva, however her oncologist recommended she start ibrance. We are on the more conservative side and I wanted to ask if anyone here was in the same boat & what you decided to do. Thanks

Latest PSA
Jim's latest PSA 0.1 Dr Mohamad says we'll soon be undetectable. I know a fast drop isn't always good news, but he started Casodex in December, Lupron (4 month) January, and Abiraterone March. So hoping a six month to 0.1 is actually good news. I'm happy for the time being. Should start Prostate Radiation

Good news day....no a GREAT news day!
After only 4 months on Ibrance,
faslodex
and xgeva and 10 rounds of radiation my tumours in my sternum, spine and ribs are inactive! My oncologist said it's this best result he's had for such a short time! To say I'm pleased is a huge understatement.

Liver SBRT Monday
So Monday, Wednesday and Friday of next week, I will have treatments. 10 days later I will start on my 4th medication (probably Verzenio and
Faslodex
)....that is if my oncologist is still speaking to me after my hissy fit! Seriously, why do we have to coordinate our own treatment? Ugh!

Brain Fog
I have been on Ibrance &
Faslodex
with what are probably the most common side effects: fatigue, hair thinning, joint pain (mostly in my hips), very dry skin, etc. Lately I've also noticed more "brain fog" than usual. Kind of like back when I was on chemo. Memory isn't so sharp any more.

Mammogram today wish me luck
Although I am already on Ibrance,
Faslodex
and Xgeva, I’m getting a mammogram today to make sure everything else is OK. And yes it freaks me out just thinking about it. Wish me luck ladies. I tell myself what are the odds I could have another new cancer?

ADT with Orgovyx
My PSA went up to 40 and Doc put me on Casodex, PSA came down to 24. Two months later (still on Casodex) Psa went up to 56. Doc wants me on Orgovyx. Orgovyx has a list of side effects that seem worse than Lupron. DEATH by heart attack /stroke are disturbing. Orgovyx has ALL the other Lupron side effects

Scientific Study on Fenbendazole - for Cancer Treatment
In May 2019 I started IBrance,
Faslodex
& Xgeva. In August 2019 I became aware of the Joe Tippen’s protocol & added that to my daily intake of meds & supplements. My first “No evidence of disease” (NED) PT/CT scan occurred in November 2019. I have had clear scans every 5 months since then.

Long timer-choice between Faslodex + Picray or Tamoxifen
My first thought, while meeting with onc was to go with
Faslodex
and PIcray. I am now almost 75 years old, have heart and lung issues, arthritis, and am really really fatigued.
