scales on carpet!
Hi all - this is the end of my second week weight in! Lost another inch on my waist and an inch on my hips! I made a bit of a booby as was originally weighing myself on the carpet in my bedroom! I had a feeling after reading some bits on my ARIA scales and fitbit that it needs to be a flat surface -

Pica disorder
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I wish to know how to overcome my eating disorder. I eat a lot of chalk daily, it's actually an addiction for me. My psychologist said to me it's PICA disorder. Anyone going through this also ?

Verging on an eating disorder?
Hi, I'm posting here because I'm just really unsure of my current situation. I'm 16, about 5 foot 5, female, and weigh just over 8 stone, which I am aware is healthy, hence my confusion; I don't know if I have a problem worth treating. During the last year, I have developed severe depression and anxiety

My Fridays are my Mondays!
I have decided to get on the weight loss wagon again. I suffered with an eating disorder for years ( now pretty much recovered) and anxiety and depression. I was given Escitalopram about a year ago, at the time I was piling on the pounds due to careless living and let all my good habits slide out the

Any advice please?
I don't know what is wrong. I'm a teenager and have recently been struggling a lot. I'm unsure whether I have an eating disorder or not but I've been restricting food a lot and really want to lose weight even though I have lost lots and have a underweight BMI. Friends have told me they are worried but

Supper thoughts....
Well it seems I have 200 calories left for the rest of the night. However, as I have been off work 2 days with an injury and am pumped full of codeine, maybe bran flakes would be good idea!! lol

Weighing scales
Don't know if others are like me but I weigh myself two times a day, at night and first thing in the morning. My partner thinks this is a little obsessive and perhaps it is but I really think it helps me to keep on track. For instance I went out last night for a meal at a country pub, having not gone

Lost it!
So having been through a really stressful time, I seem to have been eating my own body weight in rubbish! I've just been feeling very hollow and filling this space with binge eating, it's disgusting! I did make a half hearted attempt at making home made salads but I was constantly starving, so kind of

Atypical anorexia diagnosis and week 1 meal plan pain
Hi there, A week ago I was diagnosed with atypical anorexia nervosa (having all of the symptoms of anorexia but not the distorted body image or the desire to lose weight.) I cut down meal portions to about 600-800cals a day because of genuine pain, which developed into a food=pain association and thus

Week 2/3 Discouraged
I didn't post for week two because I wasn't seeing results even though I was working out a lot and eating right. 1600 calories a day is what a consumed and nothing. I don't know what happened. As for this week it's gone downhill. I'm about to hit that time of the month and my craving are going crazy

Holiday
Back from my holiday in France and I only put on 1/2 pound which I am very pleased with as I know I can vary that much day to day anyway. Just wanted to share my holiday tips for those of you who will be holidaying yourselves soon:- 1. I wouldn't have an alcoholic drink until 630pm (ie no lunchtime

Lets talk pastry.
How many of us love food wrapped in glorious golden pastry? something to really get your teeth into and feel that you have chewed a meal? Yeah, me too. Much as I love pastry though, it never ever loved me for all different reasons. Years ago I was experimenting in the kitchen and came up with this

Mid week update
I'm feeling pretty good on the food front :) I've been under my calorie goal everyday this week and we just bought the hairy dieters cook books to get inspired by some new low cal recipes, on the whole they look yummy! The big thing this week has been happiness. I've been talking about my weight openly

Just starting - long way to go
Hi, my husband and I are starting the 5/2 diet today and today is our first fasting day. However, we are finding it difficult to come up with breakfasts of only 100 calories. I take tablets with meals 3 times a day so can't cut out any meals. Any suggestions for low calorie meals for our fasting days
