Another autoimmune disorder
I often have a small outbreak on some fingers so I'd been given
Eumovate
Cream for that and started using it on the rash and it's almost completely gone. But I also started taking the antihistamines again, so I don't know which has "cured" my rash.

Finally an accurate diagnosis.
After 3 1/2 years of suffering, been to see specialist vulva dermatologist and he has diagnosed me with lichen sclerosus, lichen simplex and vulvodynia. Has given me Cetraben to be used as needed, Trimovate for anal region and Dermovate for vulvar region especially near vaginal entrance. I have believed

Skin problems
I finished taking Prednisolone 12 months ago after 5 years for PMR. My skin problems started when I came off the steroids a year ago and I am wondering if there is a connection or if anyone else has had the same thing happen. Firstly during this time

HRT and general health hell
Hello, I am new here and hope this is the right forum to post in. I am 49, and in pretty bad health. I am on Levothyroxine (100mg a day) and have blood tests which come back "slightly borderline" but not enough to change the dose. Last year, I got what started as a cold which then turned into an infection

Could sugar in skin ointment affect my diabetic blood sugar tests?
I have really bad allergic eczema on hands and fingers and have been prescribed a topical steroid - Dermovate Ointment. As it contains sugary-type substances I wonder if it might be causing an increase in the blood-sugar skin-prick tests I do for my Type 2 diabetes daily? I am thinking the base of the

Diagnosed With Lichen Sclerosus (BXO) last week. Would anybody recommend circumcision?
Hi all, after around 4 months of symptoms I was diagnosed with male genital Lichen sclerosus last week by a top professor in London. He has prescribed me with Dermovate (Clobetasol) ointment to use twice daily for a month. He gives me around a 70% chance of putting the disease into remission with the

18 year old I believe I have phimosis would anyone recommend getting circumcised and what’s the pros and cons please
Can’t retract my foreskin over my gland want to get it checked out by a doctor but because of the lockdown in the UK because of Coronavirus I can’t. I’ve tried doing loads of research into it I was 99% for getting circumcised but the 1% is I’m worried that you lose 80% sensitivity and only have 20% that

DLE or SLE
We also were able to switch to using
Eumovate
which is apparently a weaker cream than Dermovate. Other than the facial rash I didn’t have any other symptoms so Dermatologist was pretty sure the blood tests would be ok.
