Endo, the pill and kidneys?
I’ve been getting quite a lot of pain in my sides and mid back deep inside recently which usually occurs as the day is beginning to end. I also get stomach pains which I’ve had for ages but usually disappears when I’m on birth control. After dinner it usually starts and I feel bloated in my back if that

Heavy period every 2 weeks on the mini pill?
I've been on Desogestrel for 3 months now to help with my periods as they're always heavy and I have bad pain (I can't go on the combined pill as I suffer from migraines with aura). I've been getting a period every 2 weeks for the last 3 months. At first I didn't really have much pain so I assumed it

Surgery tomorrow REALLY STARTING TO PANIC. Advice please!
My surgery is tomorrow and I am having a complete melt down. I have been putting my anxiety down to the fact it might get cancelled because of the Coronavirus however, think I'm just unsure if I'm doing the right thing. Since August 2019 I have had an awful time with my pain, prior to all that the IVF

Hi, I got my depo jag on Monday and started bleeding last night (Wednesday) should it happen that quickly? Anyone else experienced this? Just before this I was on Desogestrel and 5mg Norethisterone to stop me from bleeding daily.

Taking the pill continuously- is this ok?
Hi all. I have recently (last week) been diagnosed with PCOS. I have endometriosis as well (diagnosed 10 years ago). And I’m feeling massively overwhelmed, scared and just exhausted really. Just looking for some advice on taking the pill and whether to have periods or not... I am currently on Desogestrel

Why has my Desogestrel Progesterone only pill suddenly become ineffective?
Hi all, I started taking the Desogestrel progesterone only pill about 3 years ago. In June stopped taking if for 4 months to give my body a break. When I wanted to become sexually active again in October and I started a new pack. Initially I had some break through bleeding, which I thought would settle

New contraceptive pill, PREGNANCY SCARE!
I’ve just came straight off the mini pill and onto the combined pill. Both have desogestrel but in different amounts. I am 1 day into taking the combined pill but had unprotected sex the day before whilst I was on the mini pill. Am I still protected against pregnancy as I’m worried that the transition

I'm 24 year old girl and single (virgin). My weight is 43kg. Last year I had laparoscopic surgery on September for 9cm ovarian Cyst (endometriosis). I used dinogest 2mg mini pill but mini pill doesn't suitable for me (bleeding during mini pill). So changed to combination pill Composition: Desogestrel

Still not diagnosed and struggling
Lower abdominal pain for 7 years now and I am still not diagnosed with anything. I originally started to experience severe pain 7 years ago and was referred to a gynaecologist who deemed the first line of treatment was to do a laparoscopy. This came back negative for endo and I was sent on my way to
