Re-start Eltroxin
I have
Eltroxin
here but the expiry date is 2015. Does anyone know if it's ok to take still? Also what proportion of T4 to T3 should I try. I used to be on 200mcg of Eltrkxin and wasn't converting. I now only take 25mcg of T3.

Newly pregnant and suppressed tsh
My Dr wants me to reduce my dose from 100/125 alternate days to 100 a day (
eltroxin
), but as I know tsh rises in pregnancy I'm not sure whether to or not? I'm pretty sure stopping the nutri alone will cause my tsh to normalize... Any thoughts or advice?

Posting symptoms as a record for myself and anyone else who might be interested. I want this documented also.
I was even prescribed
Eltroxin
only so that I didnt shift around with different makes. My feet (tops of feet ie bones) were in tremendous pain, my body swelled, I put on weight and I felt generally quite ill.

Side affects of medications causing side affects / new symptoms and confusing overall medical condition
Prescribed
Eltroxin
. Improved overall muscle weakness. Since, developed severe soreness in hands and feet. Physician / Specialists unable to diagnose. I'm just starting to suspect a link to
Eltroxin
. I'm an analyst for the government. I'm going to test my theory.

Changing blood levels
Based on my symptoms and family history the doctor started me on 25mcg of
eltroxin
. My new results are TSH 1.73,FT3 5.3,FT4 14.7. I dont understand how my TSH can change so drastically yet the other two levels remained practically the same?

MercuryPharma Liothyronine / Tertroxin Costs
Do you know how much Amdipharm/MercuryPharma charge for their 20 microgram Liothyronine tablets in countries other than the UK? The reason I am asking is that if we wish to make a case about T3 it would be useful to know if, for example, MP are selling in other countries (South Africa?, Australia?)

Living half well with 50years of hypothyroidism
I was diagnosed in the long distant past 1967 when both
Eltroxin
(T4)and tertroxin(T3) were the only drugs available and both made by Glaxo.

Blood Test Results...
I'm currently talking 300
eltroxin
. I have been up and down over the last 6 years and beer really been regulated in that time. I was starting to feel a little more human again less sleepy being one of the main improvements. Anyway the nurse told me I have to cut back now to 250.

Under active thyroid
My endo did stop
Eltroxin
4 weeks ago to go down the route of trying to kickstart my t3, but I had an awful reaction to the drug, so back on
eltroxin
I had to go. I really am at the end of my tether at this stage, with 4 children & a husband, I just want to get back to the "old me".
