Post stent feelings
Hi all, first post, and not sure if many will see it, or reply. Anyway, around a month ago after suffering chest pains when exercising, I was told I had exertional angina, was given the wee spray, which helped However, a few weeks later, I was starting to have chest pains when doing nothing strenuous

Palpitations
Hello. And a very Happy Christmas to everyone on here. Hope he all had a good safe Christmas. We went to family to get spoilt. Got back on Sun. Had an ECG and been referred for 24he monitoring in January then go to Cardiogiolist. Put on Phenergan tablets to help me sleep. They are doing the trick. Thanks

Worried after heart attack
UK resident. I thought I was having a heart attack called 999. Paramedidcs came out, did an ECG and they said it was probably acid reflux (which I do suffer from). I got worse later that same day so I was advised to go to A&E so I did. They did an ECG which showed i had issues so they did blood tests

AF Basics
Hello all - very new here so apologies for the basic questions! Very recently diagnosed with AF, which led to the discovery of CVD and an enlarged ventricle. Genetic, they suspect. Entirely unexpected as a 31 year old, non-smoker, occasional drinker, with no discernable symptoms! Won't deny there's

Trying to understand ECG/EKG
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all. Wishing you all the best on your health journeys for the year ahead. Calling on anyone who understands ECGs and/or has an Apple Watch. Below is trace of my ECG at 74 BPM. I have appointment with cardiologist in 5 weeks time and will ask him, however, the more

Ectopic beats all day everyday and now sharp stabbing pain.
Hi everyone. Just wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar… I’m 35 and have had palpitations since August but in the last week they’ve gotten horrific and they’re all day, everyday. I was fitted with a holter monitor on Monday and wore that for 24 hours, still waiting on results but

Hi, been suffering with flutters since 3 am this morning, still awaiting info from my doctor, tried to ring this morning, no joy, no Drs in.
I had a 24 hr ECG which apparently picked up an abnormality, I then had an Echocardiogram and CT scan which showed a healthy heart, this has been going on for months. I tried to speak to my GP this morning, but no GP's in surgery today. For the first time in ages, my heart has been continuously fluttering

Why so many deleted posts?
In my digest this morning there were 5 posts that had been deleted. One or two seemed to mention that unacceptable word but only as a side comment; others were asking advice about things like an ECG and one the other day was a lady who had lost her husband. I can't see anything that could make them

AF/VT after Covid - My Story
Hi all, this is my first post. I'm 62 and have been on meds for high BP for about 10 years. I was having palpitations around half a dozen times a year for the past few years, and then after getting Covid in July 2021 (Delta variant) they started getting more regular (every week or two) and for longer

Slow resting heart rate
Anybody been diagnosed with a slow resting heart rate? My latest ECG flagged this, so have a phone appointment with a cardiologist just after Christmas . Could it be the medication?

PBC & Heart?
Does anyone have PBC and heart issues? And if so, did your dr ever say they could be related in any way? My EKG just came back as abnormal and I have to see a cardiologist on Tuesday. I’m 43 and never had any serious health issues before this past year. It’s been very stressful and I have an anxiety

7 weeks post-ablation, high heart rate (130-140) at every activity
Hi all, Had and ablation for atrial fibrillation and flutter end of October (39 years). All seemed fine, and after a week of AF in rest and some blurry vision for 2 weeks, all seemed fine. Went back to walking after a couple of days and cycling on my race bike after 2 weeks. Gradually increased intensity

Has anyone else had a steady heart rhythm but changing rate?
Morning people. Woke up this morning and feel pretty weak. Heart rate on watch seemed to be jumping around quite a bit so I thought may be glitching. Checked with good old finger on wrist and confirmed that heart rate seems to be speeding up and slowing down yet weirdly is in rhythm and doesn’t seem
