Broad complex tachycardia. I’m imagining the worst. Is this a death sentence?
I’m 9 months post heart attack, (at 59yrs), due to blood clot, 6 months post successful cardio version for AFib. None smoker, was physically fit pre HA ( still exercising), healthy weight , no risk factors. Ejection fraction has improved from 40% to 46% Cardiologist phoned me earlier. I’d had arrhythmia

Ectopic Beats
Hi all, I've not posted for a while and hope you might reassure me. I have had a cardiac Ct Scan and everything ok, but I still seem to get an ectopic beat whilst drifting to sleep or on early waking. Its not painful, just uncomfortable and frustrating. I doubt I can do much more investigating although

Broad complex tachycardia. I’m being referred to an EP after a 5 day ECG showed episodes of this. I’m imagining the worst.

Pace and ablate
Can anyone who has had these procedures help me with information please. I've had my pacemaker inserted on Monday 9th May. Xray, ECG and pacing checks were perfect on discharge. I'm getting odd ectopics but was told my ventricles are just a bit jumpy after being poked and prodded and not to worry so

Hi all well my AFIB self corrected at 4 this morning. I have had penny for a bit as well. I had my BP and ECG done at the Surgery this afternoon as well as my INR and sats and heart rate done. All looks ok. Also made two batches of home-made soup. One is in the fridge and the other in freezer

He has had odema in both legs 3 times since December which also turned to cellulitis each time . Thankfully

ECG Reading’s
How can u tell when u should seal medical advice when looking at an ECG reading. Usually think the ones with a up peak / Tbar every second is ok. But I get negative T/bars every second and ones were there is + @ - peaks all different size peaks and multiple times per second. These r ones I wonder

Myocarditis
Hi, I (33 male) was hospitalised a couple of months ago with suspected HA that turned out to be Myocarditis. I had raised troponin of 2,560 and an abnormal T wave ECG. Other than that i just had some moderate chest pains. Echo, Angiogram and all other tests showed normal heart and function. I was released

Permanent AF
Thank you all for your replies which I have read with great interest. I have decided to carry on as I am as I feel well, but keeping a close eye on my heart rate etc and if there are any changes will ask to see a cardiologist even if I have to pay privately. I had an ECG a couple of weeks ago and apart

Post ablation
I had a cardiac ablation 2 days for PAfib . I’m feeling well and was told the procedure went smoothly. I had thought that after the procedure I would gradually reduce the medication over a period of perhaps 3 months or so. Instead I’ve been told to take the same dosage as before for 3 months and then

Recent ER Visit
Hi Friends, i hope everyone is doing well. I had an episode the night before last that landed me in the emergency room. The ER doc basically chalked my heart issues up to stress and anxiety, but I’m not buying it. . A little back info. I have palpitations daily. I’ve come to terms that those are normal

Evening, I was looking at the Kardia reading from last week and noticed a fun blip on it. Does it mean anything or did I just cough, sniff or wiggle while doing it? 🤣🤣🤣 Am just curious, am not looking for an interpretation. Thank you

AliveCor KardiaMobile 6-Lead ECG Monitor
I had a cryptogenic stroke with no co-morbidities discharged to 'wait for the next event'! Has anyone experience off using the above or 1 lead version and finding AF or associated issues undiagnosed in the usual holter/ECG tests and subsequently getting a change of treatment/diagnosis?

OmnySense is upgrading the simple thermometer found in nearly every home to track vital health parameters with ease.
By Abigail klein Leichman Almost every household has a thermometer in the medicine cabinet. Pop it under your tongue to check your temperature – couldn’t be easier. The Israeli company OmnySense is upgrading the basic thermometer into a remote health-tracking device. It reliably measures not only body

Chloresterol drug, clinical trial.
I have been contacted by my GP asking if I would like to participate in a trial of a drug to lower chloresterol. My history is that I had high chloresterol 25 years ago which resulted in blocked arteries and necessitated a heart bypass surgery. I also had a mild heart attack 6 years ago but no reason
