Thank you all for your replies which I have read with great interest. I have decided to carry on as I am as I feel well, but keeping a close eye on my heart rate etc and if there are any changes will ask to see a cardiologist even if I have to pay privately. I had an ECG a couple of weeks ago and apart from showing AF all okay. Once again thank you all for your sound advice.

Wishing you all the best, fingers crossed for continued good control and few symptoms 🤞🤞
I hope you keep track of your left atrium by means of an echocardiogram. Once your AF has caused enlargement of your left atrium and right atrium, the chances of a successful ablation decreases. That's one very important reason that EP's suggest sooner than later for successful ablations. AF damages the heart.
