Heart rate fluctuates
I have had
echocardiogram
which is fine. I've not had any bouts of A/F for months. Has anyone else had episodes of heart speeding up and slowing to normal whilst at rest?

BNP levels raised....update......well, not really!
She did agree to chase up my overdue
echocardiogram
and get me moved " further up the list". I had this on14th August (due to a cancellation...not intervention I think!).

I have just been to Spain on holiday and ended up hospitalised 2 days due to chest pain and breathless all tests revealed no heart attack,
echocardiogram
was good, ecg good but did show I was in atrial fibrillation which I have been for years and last 3 years it has been persistent but asymptomatic.

His heart is fine 😅😅😅😅 the abnormalities shown in the stress ECG we’re not replicated on the debutinine
echocardiogram
so all is well … so cardio consultant recommended hubby sees a endocrinologist to check whether his diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid antibodies could be a cause of his low B12 and

Mind the gap!!!
I had an
echocardiogram
done a year ago with reassuring results. At 75, my cardiologist tells me that episodes will become more frequent and last longer, which they are now doing. However, over the past few months I have noticed a worrying trend.

ECG,
Echocardiogram
, holter monitor and was diagnosed with SVE. The MD prescribed beta blockers and told me to reduce caffeine. I have found that the meds do absolutely nothing and I have eliminated caffeine from my diet completely but still experience these SVE’s regularly.

Echocardiogram
Jan 24 showers severe mitral regurgitation, and ejection fraction 28%. Lots more drugs added to the cocktail and now under the care of both a cardiologist and an Electrophysiologist.

incredibly lucky
A few weeks later I had an angiogram/
echocardiogram
can’t remember what it was and that’s it. I was put on the meds like Aspirin, blood pressure pills etc which I believe is the norm after a HA . One thing that I did develop after about a year was anxiety, truly awful at times, panic attacks etc.

enlarged heart
When asking if results are back the receptionist gave me them and it said enlarged heart and dr just says see a cardiologist and have an
echocardiogram
. I don’t think I should have been given them without seeing a dr.

US Healthcare vs NHS
Over the next 3 months I was able to make appointments with and see my family doctor, a cardiologist, an electrophysiologist, I had appointments for a stress test, two CT scans, numerous ECGS, a Transesophageal
Echocardiogram
, and finally a Cryoablation procedure, all within a span of 3 months.

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
So was told to tell me to get them to see their dr to get a
echocardiogram
and a ecg to check their heart. I have to have a couple more scans to check to see how severe it is. He has also said i can't have open heart surgery as he said i wouldn't survive it.

new normal blood tests
But I haven’t had an
echocardiogram
for 2 and half years or more. Apparently all SSc patients here are waiting for longer due to chronic staffing shortage so my rheumy said to just let her know if I’m symptomatic and she will mark as urgent but assures I’m on the list.

AF and leaking heart valves.
I have just received the results of my
echocardiogram
which show that I have a leaking Tricuspid valve ( mild - moderate) and mild leakage in the mitral and aortic valves.I have had AF for many years now and I just wondered how one problem might affect the other?

Spiking Heart Rate with Minimal Exertion
I also had an
echocardiogram
and it showed mild tricuspid regurgitation, mild mitral valve regurgitation, and aortic valve sclerosis. My MD said that these were all normal expected age-related changes and nothing to be concerned about.

He is recovering well from this but is still waiting for cardiology tests, 24 hour tape,
echocardiogram
His heart rate is being kept stable by 5he bisoprolol and is back on edoxaban. ( about 60 bpm) Has anyone been through similar experiences?
