Ectopic Beats
I was checked out 2.5 years ago for similar problem and also had an
echocardiogram
which was normal for age… I am 66. Doctors don’t seem unduly concerned but I am worried because they have increased in number. Your comments would be appreciated.

Back pain
I had an angiogram that showed no blockages my
echocardiogram
did not show anything although the right side was not clearly visible. The outcome was heart attack with no known cause. I am now waiting for an out patient mri.

Atrial fibrillation -left in limbo
I’ve not seen a cardiologist or had an
echocardiogram
yet, and the appointment to see one is in November. Sustaining physical and mental is near impossible at the moment. So any advice about how I manage to work/cope with AF over the next few months will be gratefully received.

Beginning To Despair.....
She has a background of hypertension and hypercholesterolaemia and I note a previous
echocardiogram
in December 2018 showing preserved LV function. Due to her being declined again for surgery, we proceeded to perform coronary angiography today as an assessment of peri operative risk.

Adrenal Insuffiency?
They wanted me to see a cardiologist the next day for an
echocardiogram
, which showed I had extra fluid around my heart so they diagnosed pericarditis, inflammation of the bag of fluid the heart sits in. Could be viral or bacterial.

mitral and tricuspid regurgitation
hi everyone, I had a
echocardiogram
recently and they found a moderate mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. Symptoms felt include chest pain and heart palpitations. Anyone went through this? How fast does it progress? What is the life expectancy when suffering from this?

Hi all I was born with TOF I had total correction 45 years ago. Two years ago I had a PVR. Today I went for my annual echo for a check up. It seemed to be mostly red in colour with some blue and very little other colours. There was a lot of red. Is this of concern? I know it depends on the view etc

Long QT anyone?
I’m now booked to have a 24hr ECG and on an unrelated medical matter regarding an enlarged liver I’m having an
echocardiogram

Aortic valve leakage
I’m now going to have an
echocardiogram
. The thing is I had an echo this time last year and nothing was picked up?! I’ve had chest pain and breathlessness on exercise for the past year which my previous cardiologist put down to me having had Covid and said it was likely myocarditis.

Rheumatic Fever.
When I was 14 I had the above when got soaked in a tent overnight at a camp. I am now 68 and till 6 months ago had no issues, although left with a murmur at 14. Suddenly with symptoms of light headiness and some breathlessness I collapsed. Post extensive tests I know have to have my aortic valve replaced
