Hello

A new Experience last night, I was listening to my heart beat through my pillow which is a Normal Experience happens most nights but last night was new !!

My heart beat sounded just like it does when your having an Echo Cardiogram, hard to describe just that open and shut sound ( if you have had an echo you will know what I mean ) not concerned just wonder if anyone else had experienced this.

off for a Holter next week so I will see what's going on soon lol

Dear Prada47

My hearing is substandard. Just about good enough to dodge hearing aids. But I hear my heart beat only when lieing on one side. So I turn over !

I must say I don’t recall anything different when I had scans including echo. Since I got my lovely new Resilia valve settled down, my heart beats are less pronounced, so I hear them less.

Best wishes

Yes, I hear my heart beat all the time and have done ever since I had a heart valve replacement. After an aortic valve replacement it is quite common.

Slightly different but i got my ICD implant in November. I have had slight tinnitus in both ears for a few years now. My point is i can now hear my heartbeat cutting through the tinnitus. It's a very strange thing to happen. It really doesn't bother me, i'm quite happy to hear my heart beat as it means i'm still here. 😂
