Disappointed meðŸ˜
We spoke about an ablation or
Dronedarone
if the beast comes back. Decided to stay as we are for now. Then Xmas eve morning bang Af ( 4 hrs). Few ectopic since then. So very disappointed when I thought I was winning. Any advice? Ablation or
dronedarone
or do nothing.

Afib or AFlutter plus Dronedarone
My Afib is not completely controlled by my 2.5mg of Bisop and he is talking about taking
Dronedarone
to help. My last Afib was 9 weeks ago. The cardio is talking to the 'sparky' as he calls the EP about ablation but tells me that the EP will decided.

I take bisoprolol, rivaroxaban and
dronedarone
. If/when I revert to afib I take extra bisoprolol and book in for another cardioversion which takes about four months on the Nhs. I’m hoping the
dronedarone
will keep me in nsr this time. Many thanks x

Cardioversion
Stupidly I was careless taking my meds (
dronedarone
) and I've flipped back into af. I am really struggling. I've been told it will be several, months before I can get another one done on the NHS so I've enquired into getting it done privately. They can do it next week at a private hospital.

Amiodarone & Dronedarone to be cut from NHS funding.

NHS consulting on Ending Amiodarone and Dronedarone Prescriptions & Other Low Evidence Treatments
Dronedarone
– used to treat atrial fibrillation. No longer to be prescribed in primary care for any new patient. Minocycline – for acne because of an increased risk of adverse effects.

NHS consulting on curbing Amiodarone and Dronedarone prescriptions
Very surprised to see this on BBC news today. Though the potential side effects of Amiodarone are bad it's still the most effective anti-arrhythmic drug as far as I know. Maybe this consultation is also taking side effects into account (I couldn't find out further since Googling didn't pull up the actual

Suggests I try
Dronedarone
but wants GP to monitor my TSH and my liver function. I have virtually decided to go into permanent AF which hopefully will stop them looking too closely at my TSH which is usually about 0.05. I can see the monitoring is a condition of taking the drug but why TSH?

Is anybody here on
Dronedarone
? As the Flecainide is making the Afib worse, this is the EP’s next drug of choice. Or he suggests letting myself get into permanent AF and living with it as although the episodes are frequent they are not debilitating. Di
