Constant afib
My medication is Bisoporol 5mg, Warfarin and
Dronedarone
500mg twice daily. I had an ablation two years ago which didn't work. I'm going for an echocardiagram and a a halter early April to ascertain if heart has changed. Has anyone any positive feedback to help me cope with afib sessions.

I have been taking
dronedarone
for 4 years for paroxysmal af. At first it worked very well but now I go into AF about once a week. My last annual check was 400 af episodes which was a shock as I was not aware of that many. I have a pacemaker as my heart rate was too slow . It has been fixed at 61.

Anybody on
dronedarone
? I've been given 1.25 mg bisoprolol. I'm being monitored on a virtual ward and my heart rate has dropped to 50. Doctor says only medication left to try is
dronedarone
but I'm really nervous about it as amiodarone made me so ill.

Advice please - feeling worried
My EP is now saying I am not a suitable patient for a daily dose of Flecainide due to Calcium score and that if the AF becomes too intrusive I could be considered for
Dronedarone
. He has upped my statin from 5mg to 10mg.

Stuck in the middle
She is loath to prescribe
dronedarone
because of all the monitoring required, the low resting heart rate and the fact that i did not tolerate amiodorane. She suggested that I keep a diary of my symptoms. Where do I go from here?

Does anyone take this medication? I am supposed to be changing to this from flecainide and Bisoprolol and hating the side effect list already, especially the digestive issues as I’m almost certain to affect me 😤

Could Vitamin C be beneficial?
I have been on
dronedarone
now for two years and as reported last year it’s been a game changer for me. Here’s my previous post which is still valid.

A question.
I went for an ECG today which is basically a yearly check re taking
Dronedarone
. Unfortunately, I was asked to lie down in a totally flat position which leaves me feeling nauseous. I mentioned this to my wife who quite automatically said "Why don't they take your ECG when you are upright"?

Stay on current meds or switch to Sotalol?
I have also been offered
Dronedarone
but the recommendation is to try is Sotalol. I know medication affects us all differently but I would really appreciate hearing the experience of others. Sorry for the long explanation and thank you for any help you can give.

Dronedarone - or ablation of the ligament of Marshall
I have a few weeks to decide what to do next -
Dronedarone
or ablation of the ligament of Marshall. I need to find out more about that ablation but haven’t really started yet. I’m in NSR - infact I’m really lucky that I’m usually mostly in NSR.
