Just home from hospital !!
I’d had chest pain, down both arms across shoulders and my back, that just wouldn’t shift with the GTN spray. Ambulance, morphine and goodness knows what else later as that morphine is pretty good stuff, X-ray ECG monitored, then my blood pressure went down to 97/43 put on fluids, I think they understood

Short Angina. Advice please
I would be most appreciative of any comments or advice. I have been getting possible Angina pains when walking up even slight inclines but they usually last only around 20 seconds. If I stop, pains stops. I have only used my GTN 3 times in 3 months but am still so very anxious prior to walking up even

More blood work
Okay, so apparently when I had bloodwork done a couple of weeks ago, someone didn't enter something correctly so I had to go back again. Finally went yesterday (lots of other things going on this past week I couldn't get it done any sooner). I received the results this morning on MyChart and they look

Exercise Modulation of Tumour Perfusion and Hypoxia to Improve Radiotherapy Response
New paper below [1]. ".. recent studies reveal that exercise may also directly influence tumour physiology that could beneficially affect the response to radiotherapy." "Preclinical research has shown that exercise can reduce intratumoral hypoxia-a major limiting factor in radiotherapy-by improving tumour

Albumin Creatinine Ratio Urine
At his last blood test my husbands Albumine /Creatinine level was 34.5. It is supposed to be under 2. His kidney specialist says it's because he eats too much salt but his sodium levels are always low normal. Can anyone tell me what this high reading means and how can I bring it down. Thanks.

I personally really struggle - I find sometimes I can’t run 10 mins without needing to go to the toilet! I do have occasional good runs to however! Just wondering if anyone else suffers

More pain than usual !!
Hi 👋 I don’t know why but today has been one of the worst days with pain I’ve had since being diagnosed 😢 It’s been in both arms down to my hands and shoulders, front and back along with the heavy chest feeling. I haven’t done much different today than usual. Has anyone else had this random worse

I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid aged 14 after 4 years of feeling ill and put on 125 mg of levothyroxine. Unfortunately at the same time I was diagnosed with glandular fever. I have spent years oscillating between feeling well and hardly being able to get out of bed . I practice yoga, rest

Mistreatment of women by the NHS
I wonder if there will ever be an investigation into the woefully inadequate treatment of hypothyroid patients ( who again are largely female ). Looking at the reports today (into the mesh that was used to repair women's insides, the use of sodium valproate and the Primodos pregnancy test ) and the fact
