Hi again, it is now several weeks since given diagnosis of (LAD - minor atheromatous changes- left diagonal branch is a good size vessel with focal stenosis of 90% )
I am on atorvastatin 40mg at night and aspirin 75mg daily.
The consultant has said he will review me in 6 months as my message before i am still very anxious talked with a radiographer nurse who has said that there are other artery’s in this area so i should try and get back to normal life style and use gtn spray if needed , not sure why i feel so anxious anyone else out there can offer advice

Hi Kit2000. I'd bet that you'll find we all feel anxious at some time - I know I do. I'd also bet that we all have different ways of dealing with it. Distraction works for me - watch cheerful nonsense on tv for a while, phone a friend or a family member and chatter about nothing in particular, sort out a messy cupboard while listening to a podcast. Calm, deep breathing helps too. Different strokes for different folks but I find I need to make a conscious effort to banish the panic. I have ducklings locally so I can go and check on them too!
