Looks great, but think Xtandi is coming to an end.
PSA 556 and mestastasis to bones, bone marrow, lymph nodes throughout. 3 week hospitalization and started
docetaxel
then. Did 10 rounds. Still on Lupron. After chemo two months before PSA rising and he was put on Xtandi (April I believe).

Seeking information about targeted treatments
At our last meeting my onco introduced the probability of him recommending that I have
Docetaxel
which is something that I am not very keen on. I have come across a compony that performs an Oncofocus Test which sounds very interesting does anyone have any experience of this process?

CRPC with Complications.. Do not know what to do now ?
Had tried
Docetaxel
, Zytiga, Xtandi and Radium and Lupron , Nothing worked and he got only side effects from those. He did better after he stopped Xtandi (last Chemotherapeutic agent he had) and stayed on Lupron with his PSA went down from over 400 to less than 1.

Good News, Pain Question, and a Dumb Forum Question
Now the good news, I just had my second infusion of
docetaxel
yesterday which came with a shot of Xgeva on the side. It went very smoothly, unlike the first infusion. Of course, before the infusion they drew blood and my PSA is already down to 0.19 from 216 at diagnosis in October.

Purity of BIRM, how can we be sure of what we are getting?
Having my last
Docetaxel
infusion today and I wanted to follow with full strength BIRM but my MO warned me that many supplements are adulterated with hormones, etc. Any comments from the BIRM community, how do feel about the purity of BIRM?

Chemo (docetaxel) and the PSMA 68 GA PET-CT scan
I will be taking my sixth cycle of chemo (
docetaxel
) 140 mg on the 4th of February, 2019. Should there be a certain number of days that should pass before I take the PSMA 68GA PET-CT scan ?? So that the effects of the chemo are not too pronounced ?

Help on next step - Chemo or Xtandi?
Gallbladder, pancreas, spleen and adrenals are unremarkable Negatives: - one node in lumbar area increased in size and intensity (SUV 91.6) - Some pelvic lesion and rib lesions increased in size and intensity Now based on the latest PET PSMA scan results and PSA results, our MO suggested Xtandi or chemo (

How quickly should PSA drop after docetaxel (chemo) ??
Its been 50 days since I had my first infusion of chemo (
docetaxel
, taxotere). I have had 3 infusions thus far. The side effects have been negligible. The dosage was 100 mg for the first two cycles and 120 mg for the third. My PSA has dropped from 8.4 to 5.65 in this period of 50 days.

Androgen Deprivation Therapy & Gleason 8 Versus Gleason 9-10.
Consideration should be given to treatment intensification for Gleason 9-10 patients through enrollment in clinical trials or potentially adding novel antiandrogens or
docetaxel
, which have shown efficacy in both castration-resistant and castration-sensitive settings."

PSA decreasing slowly
My husbands PSA responded amazingly immediately on
docetaxel
and cabazitaxel, but they only lasted for about 4-5 months. Thank you in advance.

After Lupron and docetaxel: then what?
Began
docetaxel
in mid-September, 2 cycles so far. About to get #3. Last, PSA 3 1/2 months, after beginning Lupron, was 0.87, a nice response. Tolerating treatment without too much trouble. After completing
docetaxel
with continued Lupron, then what? Any role for Abiraterone?
