hands now painfully sensitive to touch and temperature after 3rd Docetaxel
A week ago I had my 3rd
Docetaxel
infusion. Aside from a dry mouth and funny tastes, there's been no side effects. But now I'm getting dark red spots on my hands and arms and the skin on my knuckles is red and very sensitive to touch and temperature. Are these known side effects?

Xtandi while undergoing Docetaxel/Carboplatin chemo
On Thursday I will have my 3rd round of chemo with
Docetaxel
/Carboplatin combo. In each of the other 2 rounds, we used Xtandi as a rechallenge after 6 cycles of chemo.

Starting Radium 223 (Xofigo) next week
Having just finished a trial of carboplatin +
docetaxel
, I'll be starting Xofigo next week as a bridge to a pembro+ trial early next year. My latest PSA is 940, with no visible soft tissue involvement. I have a single-strand CDK12 defect.

PSA rise from 30 to 130 initial 3 months on Zytiga after Docetaxel
This is my initial 3 months on Zytiga ( Abiraterone Acetate) post chemo (
Docetaxel
). Oncologist advised previously that if Zytiga fails next treatment will be chemo. Not sure if that will be
docetaxel
or cabazitaxel or something else. I am public health patient in Australia.

PSA Flare Afer Initial Docetaxel
So husband's PSA went up today (5 something) after the initial chemo. Nurse says not to worry and I'm aware there's a flare associated with a subset of patients. Also aware it may be more linked to steroids than chemo. Anyone have any thoughts on why this only occurs with some, or personal experiences

Next Step
He has castration-resistant prostate cancer with progression despite abiraterone, enzalutamide, and
docetaxel
chemotherapy. About 4 months ago, he began treatment with radium-223, and has received 4 of 6 infusions thus far.

Just had my second Docetaxel drip, don't feel the need for sleep.
Hi, I just had my second
Docetaxel
drip. I'm on 5mg Prednisone for breakfast and lunch. I know that
Docetaxel
causes fatigue but I suffer from the opposite. Does Prednisone keep you from sleeping? Last night I got maybe 3 hours sleep.

Taxoetere (Docetaxel)
Has anyone had experience with Taxoetere, I had a second opinion about my PC and the Doc. wants to add Taxoetere to my treatment of ADT, EBRT and Brachy, due to the large number of Gleason 10 cores, scheduled for a MRI, my understanding is that Taxoetere is chemo

Need advice if I should do Docetaxel/Lucrin even when PSA continues to drop to 0.41
Oncologist is suggesting that I seriously look into doing
docetaxel
+Lucrin to increase longer overall survival based on New England Journal, August 20th, 2015 . Will need 6 cycles of
docetaxel
. Please do share your thought if i should go ahead with it. Thank you in advance.

Could not remove my prostate and the cancer!
UPMC Hillman Center, Dr Appleman wanted me to take extra strong
docetaxel
over 18 weeks. The end of Chemo was November 2017. I continue Lupron shots every 3 months. January 2019 I started eating a Whole Plant-based Food with Salmon occasionally. My PSA was .1, this past June and it dropped to .05.

Xtandi Question after Docetaxel Doesn't Get PSA Below 5
My dad with stage IV (Neoplasm Of Prostate, Distant Metastasis Staging Category M1b: Metastasis To Bone) is on Lupron and complete 6 doses of
docetaxel
which brought his PSA down from 121.15 to 24. Given his PSA did not go below 5 they want to start Xtandi. My questions: 1.

Enzalutamide With Standard Therapy in Metastatic Prostate Cancer
TAKE-HOME MESSAGE •It is not known whether adding enzalutamide to testosterone suppression, with or without early
docetaxel
, will improve survival in men with metastatic, hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.

Haemoglobin levels and blood transfusion while on Docetaxel
Did anyone need a blood transfusion while on
Docetaxel
? I'm 3 rounds in and my haemoglobin level are down to 80. I'm being advised a transfusion would be the most likely next course of action.

Cabazitaxel,Cytoxan or Comfort Care after dismissal from Lu PSMA Vision Trial
Since then, we have been through Provenge, Zytiga, Xstandi,
Docetaxel
(5 sessions), and he still is receiving Lupron and Xgeva. Out of all the treatments, only the Docetaxel's side effects became unbearable and I am quite certain he would have died if he stayed on it.

Started
docetaxel
