Yesterday was number 7 out of 8 Docetaxel infusions. So far I'm only suffering minor discomforts. I can't do much about the runny eyes or hair lost but have discovered that painful cracks in my fingertips and heels can be glued shut with super glue. I can walk and wash dishes without pain after the cracks have been sealed.

Elevating the hands and feet (adjustments on chemo couch) during infusion and 3 hours after.
You might try an "old school" product called Flexitol. You can find it in any drugstore or walmart in the foot care aisle. It IS FAST ACTING (usually see marked improvement after first use) and not slippery.
