Neuropathy
I am into another round of chemotherapy,
docetaxel
and Carboplatin and would love to have minimal addition to the discomfort I already endure.

Xtandi is failing
Zoladex and
docetaxel
initially delivered a nadir of 0.06. I had a 2nd scare in April/May 2022 when my PSA rose to 39 and was doubling every 3 months.

Need some advice on what tools are still in the toolbox
I’ve run the gambit from Casodex to
Docetaxel
to Zytiga to Cabazitaxel to Pluvicto currently on Xtandi but it is failing. I’ve also had Lupron and Zometa along the way. All of my treatments have been at Hershey Medical Center.

Any experience with fever please?
Treatments have been RPT in 15, 1st line ADT, RT to prostatic bed in 19, enzalutamide, 6 cycles
Docetaxel
ending Jan 23, Olaparib until April, currently on Aberaterone. PSA jumped from 2.8 July 22 to 729 March 23. It seems Chemo and Olaparib weren’t effective.

The point estimates for risk of death in patients with planned use of
docetaxel
versus those with no planned use of

were numerically different but we found no statistically significant interaction.

PSA rising, rapidly
I was (and still am) on a tripple therapy along the lines of the ARASENS trial (
Docetaxel
, Lupron and NUBEQA) for about 2 years. My PSA started rising six months ago, at first slowly, but now very rapidly.

Bell Curve On Chemo Cycles?
Most of you know I had my first infusion of
Docetaxel
3 weeks ago. After 4-5 days, I noticed that my symptoms (blood in urine, bladder discomfort, rectal wall pain) cleared up within days.

Not The News I wanted To See :(
I failed five
infusions as well.
Hopefully they will administer me my third cycle of Pluvicto, if for nothing else but to slow down the rising numbers and get a chance to regroup and go in a different direction.

Delta Gold & Docetaxel
The new paper suggests that men on Taxotere (
Docetaxel
) might delay resistance by using delta tocotrienol. "... Several agents, including natural compounds, have been shown to induce necroptosis in human cancer cells.
