Advice on supplements & iron panel and selenium /zinc tests
Hello is anyone able to interpret my latest iron panel result? I have been supplementing with 150mg of iron bisglycinate and 1 ferrous fumarate tablet daily before this test (stopped 1 week before). With iron of 74% through range is this too high or can I continue? My ferritin result is only 54 (or

Severely weak. Can I try heme iron peptides?
Could my trembling/vibrations/debility be caused by iron deficiency as ferritin was 17 (saturation n iron stores also on lower side). I also feel cold. After taking iron, I feel almost normal for sometime n the trembling lessens too, then again feel weak by evening. if I don't take the iron in evening

Change from Tecfidera Dimethyl Fumarate(Generic) or Vumerity
My Insurance Co (UHC) made a decision to stop paying for Tecfidera as of 1/5 and will be willing to pay for Generic Tecfidera(
Dimethyl
Fumarate
) my doctor advised me on today possible Vumerity, but further discussion will take place on 1/18.

Ferrous Fumarate or Ferrous Gluconate?
Hi, I finally managed to get all my old blood results from my GP. I've only had ferritin tested X3 over the years, Range hasn't changed from 10-291ug/L Nov 2007 24 (this was at Hashi's diagnosis) Dec 2015 16 Jan 2021 15 (this was requested by me after coeliac diagnosis) Dire aren't they? The latest

Advice from Vumerity users
Last month my neuro mentioned Vumerity, which is covered, but I declined because Tec works for me(not fond of
dimethyl
fumarate
). What do you think? Should I stop being such a Tec snob and try Vumerity? 😌

Generic Tecfidera
There was no honest reason for her to change my prescription from Tecfidera to
dimethyl
fumarate
without telling me. I lost all respect for her today.

When should I take Ferrous Fumarate?
When is the best time to take Ferrous Fumarate if I'm also taking levothyroxine and other supplements? I'm currently taking levothyroxine as soon as I wake up and then all of my supplements (including Ferrous Fumarate) with lunch and again with tea. I feel like I should probably be taking Ferrous Fumarate

Need to ask my GP to up my Levo dose, but by what amount?
Hello, I've been on 100mcg Levothyroxine for a while but have started experiencing difficulty maintaining/losing weight, a very itchy rash on my hands (which I've had previously when my TSH was above 1) and extremely cold extremities/Reynaud's syndrome on feet and hands. I've also felt generally a bit

Ongoing tummy issues - no idea what's wrong :(
Hey guys! I made a post about a week ago, but just wanted to make a more detailed one on symptoms i’ve been experiencing and my worries. Sorry if it’s long! For context, i’m 21 years old, weight about 40kg and i’m 5ft1 (bmi is within the underweight region). I’ve been this way for a few years now, so

My first love🧡
I had almost a whole bottle of generic Tec(
dimethyl
fumarate
) left over from my first failed attempt at switching from the Tecfidera brand to using the generic form. Full body tingling(Paresthesia) kept me awake 2 out of the 2 nights I was on it, but I have no choice.

Still have symptoms need help with new results
Hello I am on 100 mcg of Levo and have been since April. I have 210 mg of Ferrous Fumarate which I take 4 hours apart. I think I must have been undiagnosed for 4.5 years as I had a very sore throat 10 ( I couldn't swallow and went to the GP ) days after giving birth to my son and then gradually developed

FBC test results
This is sort of related to my recent post about generally feeling unwell. My GP says there’s nothing wrong with my levels and thinks I should go on anti anxiety meds. I disagree!! Do these test results (look at the far right column, they’re the latest...30th Oct 2020) mean anything to anyone?! I understand

Is this going to interfere with my test? I’m under active & am feeling absolutely awful atm. I need to have full thyroid & all

Doctor won't prescribe Iron
So long story short, in the past I have been frequently low in Iron. Was therefore prescribed Ferrous Fumarate about 2 years ago and since then I have used SpaTone, as well as eating more red meat. For that reason I stopped requesting FF (as I prefer something gentler on stomach). Also supplemented

Anaemia and PMR/GCA
I am new here and this has probably come up before but I am trying to find out if there is a connection between PMR/GCA (they are not sure which I have) and anaemia - my Hb was 70 - I was given 2 bags of blood back in March (at start of lockdown!!) and have been on 3x210g of ferrous fumarate a day since
