New contraceptive pill, PREGNANCY SCARE!
Both have
desogestrel
but in different amounts. I am 1 day into taking the combined pill but had unprotected sex the day before whilst I was on the mini pill.

More treatment
After trying
desogestrel
alongside mirena for 3 months which caused me nothing but issues my consultant has now suggested I try Zoladex injection for 6 months. I'm a bit worried as this will put me into temporary Menopause so I'm worried about the possible side effects.

I have recently been prescribed
desogestrel
to take in addition to the demo but have experienced intense abdominal pain and substantial bleeding so have stopped. The gynaecologist has now suggested I try Goserelin to put me into a medically induced menopause at 24!

Periods on mini pill
Hi, I was put on the
Desogestrel
pill over a month ago now and I’ve been on my period 2 times since being on it. Is this normal? The nurse said I wouldn’t have my periods?

I never knew the pill could make me feel so ill!
I then was switched to a mini pill,
Desogestrel
, (that was three days ago), and now my insides feel they're being shredded, my uterus feels like it's full of glass, and the bleeding is as heavy as it would be if I was on my natural period.

Desogestrel pill- long bleeding
Hey, so I started the
desogestrel
pill, on the 3rd day of my last cycle, 3 1/2 weeks ago. A little background info I’m 18 and have always had really irregular periods being 4 or more months apart, that last a week and can be fairly heavy.
