Hi, I was put on the Desogestrel pill over a month ago now and I’ve been on my period 2 times since being on it. Is this normal? The nurse said I wouldn’t have my periods?

Yes, unpredictable bleeding can be a side effect of the progesterone only pill (desogestrel). Unfortunately there is no guarantee you won’t have any bleeding, although lots of women do find this to be the case
