High TSH, Low FT4 Help Please
I have Hashimotos and just had new labs completed. I've been taking Cytomel for about a year now, as my FT3 was previously an issue (low). Now that it has improved some, my FT4 is low and my TSH at an all time high. There are no endos near me that will take my insurance. Was hoping someone could

Increasing Armour in response to lowered thyroid absorption/function...ok?
Reverse T3 was 18 LS/MS/MS early June in a range of 8-25 ng/dL. Hi, my TSH has steadily been going up and my T3 and T4 are going down. I've been feeling awful, which isn't that unusual thanks to perimenopause, but been feeling really extra fatigued, depressed-ish, tingly, digestive issues, etc. Current

Conversion issues or adrenals.
I just received my blood results and I would like opinions of others. Since 1,5 year I am on 75mcg levo and about 3mcg of Cytomel. When i first added Cytomel I felt great, but since a few months I am in a stressful situation at home and I started gaining a lot of weight, eventhough i eat very healthy

Hello I am in US and used to take 88 mcg Unithroid, and 30 MCG of Cytomel. Then the doctor discontinued my Cytomel. So I got some Grossman Cynomel from Mexico which works great. I have been on Cynomel for 3 months. I tested a month ago and had my Unithroid go down to 1.02 (range is .82 to 1.77

Euthyral prescription ... dose
Hi everyone, I have finally been prescribed Euthyral by my French GP. He didn't know what Cynomel or Cytomel was so I couldn't convince him to go down that road (yet). My question is dosing ... I have been taking 100mcg L Thyrox for the last couple of years and still getting crippling tiredness, sporadic

Thyroid Hormone Resistance - Info
Hello everyone: Thanks to the administrators and all the dear folks that assist the public on this GREAT site. I came across this article and it is excellent in explaining a very overlooked cause of people taking medicine but still having symptoms (like me). And of course, being ignored and dismissed

Cytomel and Wegovy (Semaglutide)
I’ve been on T3 only (Cytomel) for 15+ years for low thyroid /Hashimoto’s. My doctor put me on Wegovy (Semaglutide) which is a once a week injection. (In the UK I believe the Semaglutide brand used is Ozempic). The Wegovy dose increases each month (I’m currently up to 1.0 mg) until a maintenance

Mayne or Sun brand liothyronine
I am wondering if anyone has experience with either of these generic brands of cytomel? I realize everyone responds differently to different brands. I've always responded best to cynomel from Mexico, but can't really afford to pay out of pocket at the moment. So these are my options through my insurance

Why would SMALL increase in T3 meds have caused fT3 to go DOWN a LOT and fT4 to also go DOWN?
Can someone help explain the mechanism? Given all nutrients of importance are optimal, why would a very slight increase in cytomel from 10 mcg to 12.5mcg, keeping Synthroid the same (at 75 mcg) have caused — fT3 to have dropped significantly from 65.6% to 37.5% of the reference range (from Oct 24 2022

Just got updated thyroid hormone results — see why I'm tired.
Well, I can see why I am so tired. The iron panel is certainly much better, but not as high as I think it should be, but since this is my field, I will keep working on it. Serum zinc will take about a week to get back. B12 and vitamin D are very good / optimal for hypothyroid, so it's not low nutrients

Excercising with hypothyroidism
I have been feeling good with my levo + cytomel. I think I have found the right dosage for me. But a few weeks ago I started to workout again and I feel off afterwards. I need to get some new blood results next month but does anyone know if our ft4 /ft3 lowers when we workout? Maybe I just need a little

Six Months later - upcoming meeting with my MD (input needed)
[lab tests are from October 2022] So, it is 6 months later and things were going well on 0.075mg Synthroid (75 mcg) and 15 mcg Cytomel divided over 3 daily doses. I have been diligent with supplementing iron using a heme polypeptide every second day, alternating with zinc w/ copper and of course taking

Have to change T3 manufaturer to Tiromel
Hello, I am running out of my t3 which is SignaPharma Cytomel, as the doctor wont renew my prescription. I am in US and recently got some Tiromel, it is 25 mcg. I saw a post awhile ago that Trinomel is very weak and to take it I would need to increase dosage to be equal to my cytomel. Does anyone

Stress - thyroid weight connection
I’m on levo + cytomel for a year and feel ok if I stick to a healthy , mostly glutenfree diet. But I notice that when I go through periods of high stress my weight goes up suddenly and my body seems to swell overnight. I find it really strange, never had that before. Is there an explanation ?

Hello everyone, I live in the US and I am 70 yrs old. Taking T4 (unithroid) 88 mcg and Cytomel 35 mcg split ((25 mcg at midnight and 10 mcg at 1 pm. )) I followed the protocol used on this site before getting tested. ie. no Biotin 7 days, wait 8-12 hrs after taking T3, etc etc. My results
