Excited! New bloods, need advice... change T3? T4? Vitties & Iron adjustments?
Hi all, I have waited out the 6-8 weeks! Hurray! All info below and in profile
Looking for advice what my new numbers mean for my next med change:
🔸
T4 and/or T3
: Can we tell if I'm a good converter? I know I have some room to go with the T4 (target by weight could be 100 mcgs), and my

Ferritin and folate levels
I have pituitary failure and it's taken me almost 20years to get myself sorted. I take T3 in the form of Cytomel which is reluctantly prescribed by my local Endo but beyond that they are totally useless. I now see a specialist in Leicester who has got a better idea and I now have hydrocortisone, growth

Cytomel sleep starts?
I started taking Cytomel six months ago. I had more energy and occasionally woke up several times in the night or had trouble sleeping. Around two months ago, 2 to 3 times a week. Every time I start dozing off I am suddenly woken with a start. My heart starts racing, my arms, neck and face feel tingly

Dr switching me from Synthroid/Cytomel to Armour. Can you please share your experiences?
Hi everyone, First off, thank you for being so helpful to me and others. This is such a great group of people with knowledge that surpasses most doctors. I posted 2 weeks ago that my reverse T3 is high and saw my dr yesterday. She wants to put me on an equivalent amount of Amour to see if my body

Patience… right? (Med change, blood test timing, heart racing)
About 4 weeks into an increase in Synthroid. Now on 50mcg, plus 10 Cytomel. Previously 25 plus 10. (Note I switched from Lio to Cytomel brand a week ago but below problem precedes that) I am waiting to hit the 6 week mark to get my numbers. (Other symptoms seem to be getting a weeeee but better or at

High reverse t3, were you better when you switched to Armour/NP? or T3 only?
Hi everyone, I have had Hashimoto's for 30 years and am currently on 100 mg of Synthroid and 5 mcg of Cytomel. I have been a mystery to my providers because I still have hypo symptoms (cold, hair loss, constipation, brain fog, low blood pressure 93/48, low pulse 46, low body temp) yet my current

Total t3 and free t3
Hi all-Just would like to know how important the total t3 is on a fasting blood test. The weird thing is, my free t3 has gone up, now in the mid range which is good,it's never been so high.. but my total t3 is at the very bottom range, while my tsh is now below range, near suppressed. T4 is good, above

Trying LDN and have pain in feet and hands, anyone else with increased pain?
Hi everyone, I have had Hashis for 30 years and take 100 mg Synthroid and 5 mcg of Cytomel. My TSH is low and my T3 is barely hanging in there , my vitamin levels are good , I avoid gluten so my endo is letting me do a trial of LDN. I started at 1.5 for 10 days, 3 for 10 days and now 4.5 for a month

Reaching out to find the member who successfully did every other day hormone cycling
Anyone out there know? Someone 💯 mentioned they cycled choices with success. I believe it involved NDT. Or do you? **I fully realize this is a poor choice, just getting cornered due to price. It is not what I want. ** I just had my hormones increased yet again this week & the financial burden has

Generic Cytomel
Hi all-Just curious if anyone else out there has potency issues with generics. Been taking generic liothyronine made by "Northstar," and feel hypo symptoms coming back, big time. Before this "Northstar" generic I was taking some other generic and felt okay. Picked up a new RX today, which is brand name

Private consultants who prescribe Erfa
Hi there! I have been feeling great on Erfa since February this year -- much better than I felt on a combination of Levothyroxine and Cytomel during the previous 25 years. Now my consultant no longer accepts Inuvi which was the only company that provided a nurse to come to my home to draw my blood. I'm

High TSH, Low FT4 Help Please
I have Hashimotos and just had new labs completed. I've been taking Cytomel for about a year now, as my FT3 was previously an issue (low). Now that it has improved some, my FT4 is low and my TSH at an all time high. There are no endos near me that will take my insurance. Was hoping someone could
