Warmly, Lisa TSH .032 [range .4 - 4.5] - according to "Biochemical Marers Reflecting Thyroid Function" when on T4 monotherapy after thyroidectomy one is closest to euthyroid at a TSH level of .03-.3 Free T3 2.9 (37.5%) [range 2 - 4.4] - the highest I've ever been was 3.01 when I added 5 mcg Cytomel

I am actually taking Cytomel 20mg at 1 daily in 4 divided doses also. So what's wrong? Well, still tired as hell and in the past week I have begun to get pains/stiffness in my knee joints and down my legs. I'm quite fit; 3 times a week Yoga, walking etc so this is totally new.

Picked up a new RX today, which is brand name cytomel to test my theory but not without a huge cost increase ! The more I read about generics, the more I just don't trust them. Am I alone here ? Wondering if anyone else has noticed a difference with thyroid meds.

Now on 50mcg, plus 10 Cytomel. Previously 25 plus 10. (Note I switched from Lio to Cytomel brand a week ago but below problem precedes that) I am waiting to hit the 6 week mark to get my numbers.

Hi everyone, I have had Hashimoto's for 30 years and am currently on 100 mg of Synthroid and 5 mcg of Cytomel.

I take T3 in the form of Cytomel which is reluctantly prescribed by my local Endo but beyond that they are totally useless. I now see a specialist in Leicester who has got a better idea and I now have hydrocortisone, growth hormone, estrogen and testosterone to replace the missing hormones.

On tirosint 88 and cytomel 7.5 mg. I listen more to what I learn from here, than I do to doc's. I guess my question is, how important is the total t3 in the big picture. Thanks much ! I value the knowledge here

I can't get them in the UK. Where can I purchase T3? Thank you in advance.

I take 75mcg levo and 3mcg cytomel. The last few days I am suddenly feeling hyper instead of hypo. I feel very anxious, wired, faster heartbeat, my period is shorter, trouble sleeping, very warm and a tight throat. I have scheduled a blood draw in 4 days.

(my body didn't like cytomel) Got my doctor to do some tests these last two months and they have all come out in the "normal" range. Is there anything in my results that could show a thyroid concern? I am wondering where to go from here really as have so many struggles.

Due to no thyroid and my natural size (ie. will always be a large amount for life, even with weight loss) I can not get cheap Cytomel or any form of t3 due to import laws here (Canada). Prescription is crazy expensive even if I could convince my endocrinologist of t3 only.

Since 1,5 year I am on 75mcg levo and about 3mcg of Cytomel. When i first added Cytomel I felt great, but since a few months I am in a stressful situation at home and I started gaining a lot of weight, eventhough i eat very healthy.

So I will likely increase to 125 mcg of T4 (Tirosint) and 7.5 mcg of T3 (Cytomel) each morning and hope for the best Note: -Male: 6ft, 155-160 lbs -My vitamin levels are all looking pretty good right now.

I've been taking Cytomel for about a year now, as my FT3 was previously an issue (low). Now that it has improved some, my FT4 is low and my TSH at an all time high. There are no endos near me that will take my insurance.

I did really well on 88 mcg and 30 mcg of Cytomel. But cant get cytomel anymore. Have Grossman Cynomel. Thanks for your advice.

I have been feeling great on Erfa since February this year -- much better than I felt on a combination of Levothyroxine and Cytomel during the previous 25 years. Now my consultant no longer accepts Inuvi which was the only company that provided a nurse to come to my home to draw my blood.

I’m just looking for a legitimate seller of T3 (Tiromel/Cytomel) since my last has stopped providing. Could anyone help me pleased? I’m based in UK. Thanks so much
