Cytomel

May 2018 I was on taking 100mcg synthyroid and 15mcg Cytomel in June 2018 reduced to 88mcg and 15mcg Cytomel and from August 2018 to Present I'm on (2 grain) Armour Thyroid.

When I did my last test I was taking 25mcg Cytomel so I split it into 12.5 x2 that day and took 12.5mcg 12 hours before the test. Firstly, was the T3 result accurate? Secondly, will testing 12hours after 40mcg T3 be accurate or falsely high? Thanks!

I cannot take Cytomel as it causes sore gums which clear up after stopping it. Thanks for your suggestions.

( hope it continues ) The ratio is much much Lower and the t3 in this med just doesn’t feel so harsh as the Cytomel . And yes - I’ve had ALL the testing that is so often suggested here and all that stuff is fine.

Due to the shortage of Cytomel worldwide I need to find a new reputable source until the manufacturer finally stocks up again. In the past I had imported from the popular Cyprus T3 online supplier, but I do not see their website up anymore. Is anyone able to PM me an alternate supplier please?

My recent schedule has been: 6am - liothyronine 25mcg pills (T3 or Cytomel) 7 am - breakfast (Dr. Axe, bone broth protein shake and scoop of Collagen Peptides mixed with coconut milk or almond milk) I see the drink provides 5 percent of daily calcium. I know calcium is a no no near the T3.

I’m on 100 mcg my tsh was 0.41, ft4 1.1 ft3 2.3 dr wanted to add t3 for 5mcg but I get even more anxiouse, palps and headache when I add the cytomel. Should i reduce the tirosint to 75. Anybody had this issues with tirosint?

My endo suggested I try it instead of Levo with Cytomel. I have not been able to get to a good place with levo and cytomel and it's been around two years or so. Also I seem to get heart palps with cytomel.

I know synthroid has to build up in your body but I am wondering how long does it take cytomel to work? The dosage of the cytomel 5mcg. I’m not going to post my labs.

Currently on 5mcg cytomel and 1.5 np thyroid. Dr is afraid I’m over medicated. 😬. My reverse T3 is high so I’m trying to reduce this since I seem to not be converting. It seems I may actually be pooling. I was hoping someone could message me regarding reputable sources for cytomel?

Since Sept I reduced from 75mcg Levo + 20mcg Cytomel all the way down to just 50mcg Levo. So now I have been on 50mcg Levo for just a month. My TSH dropped from 6.43 to 2.23 in just 33 days all the while on 50mcg Levo.

I have had a horrible year - blood test and symptoms last summer showed I was overmedicated (on 75mcg Levothyroxine + 20mcg Cytomel) so started stepping down on dose. Hyper symptoms continued, so my endo continued to step me down off meds. So as of today I am starting week #8 with ZERO med.

Could someone private message me with any reliable online sources of T3/Cytomel/Liothyronine without a prescription who will allow payment by credit card or PayPal/Venmo rather than BitCoin. (Why do so many sites ask for BitCoin payment? Maybe I’m just too old, but I don’t know how to get BitCoin!)

Here’s my first blood test on Cytomel. After a dose change from 125mcg Synthroid, and a slow but steady titration to 75mcg Synthroid and 25mcg Cytomel. Stayed at that for over 6 weeks.

I was recently switched to Euthyrox (Levo) and Tiromel (cytomel T3) from NDT ...and my face is breaking out, my joints are hurting and my period hasn't stopped and its day 13. I switched from NDT (none of these symptoms) to synthetic as the NDT was increasing my antibodies.

I am also taking cytomel, I was on 15mcg but I seem to keep needing to add more. I am now up to 30mcg of t3. How do you typically know how high to go, I mostly go by symptoms and heart rate.

Presently taking Levo 0.112 plus Cytomel 5mcg. Would appreciate some feedback. Anyone out ther with Lyme and thyroid issues? I’m desperate to get my life back. Thanks, Rosebud1955.

I'm on 100mc Levo and take half a Cytomel so 12.25 T3 and have only got my health back on track this way, I returned to running and my mental health and memory have improved. I'm guessing my TSH may react slower than expected to falling hormones levels?

My PCP added Cytomel 9 days ago due to the weight gain, poor mood, and pain in muscles especially legs. Since the Cytomel was added I have horrible pain in my legs and back. Barely able to walk! Anyone experience this with T3 added?
