Liothyronine help/Hashimotos
I am going to phone the pharmacy today, but I don't think they are going to do anything as the prescription didn't say
Cytomel
(which I believe is the right one for me). They gave me Cynomel.

Did switch cause depression
In June 2014 I decided to switch from 85 mcg of Armour daily to 60 mcg of levothyroxine and 35 mcg of
Cytomel
daily. Ever since I switched, I have battled pretty severe depression. I am sure that the 85 mcg tabs of Armour don't have more than 35 mcg of T3.

Cytomel/Cynomel
Could someone please PM me as to where I can get
cytomel
/cynomel? I did order them from our Mexican friends, however, there are problems with this supplier and I have gone back to Tiromel, which doesn't seem to suit me. Any help greatly appreciated.

Feeling bad on Tiromel
Hi I have been unable to buy any Cynomel/
Cytomel
(whatever) from Mexico so I bought some Tiromel. About a month later am finding it very difficult to cope and am feeling breathless. Any ideas what I should do please?

Follow-up Lab Results and Adding T3
I added 5 mcg of T3 (
Cytomel
) this week. I have been 100% gluten free for over a month. I see that my TSH has come down nicely to .9, but that T3 and T4 levels have not really improved and seem to be toward the low end of the range.

Hypothyroidism
So going to see the doc at the end of the month, and going to insist on T3,
cytomel
cynomel or the proper name liothyronine sodium. See that most who take this with their levo, makes them feel so much better.

Anyone tried Tiromel?
Previously I have taken
Cytomel
and found it to be excellent but I cannot get it any more. Does anyone have any experience of taking Tiromel? Is it as strong as
Cytomel
? My current dose is 62.5 mcgs a day. Thanks in advance for any answers.

T3 two weeks in, don't feel anything
I have been on T3 for my second week, however I don't feel a slight improvement, I am taking 50 mcg of
Cytomel
from Pfizer. My muscle twitching is bad as well, not since I have been taking T3 just generally, I'm getting a lot of it in my face, legs, neck etc; its as if my body is literally shaking.

It is "levothyroxine" - not "Synthroid"
And it is liothyronine not
Cytomel
! [i]
Drug names
In the research literature drugs are not referred to by brand names.

Cytomel - anywhere?
Hi everyone - usual website is out of
Cytomel
- I tried their alternative but reacted with very high prolonged pulse rate . Does anyone know of reliable alternative that accepts debit or credit card as some have dubious payment methods. Thank you 😊 Admin edit as per our guidelines

Role of TSH after TT?
My first post is a question : I had a TT exactly one year ago and still trying to balance out T3 and T4 (Levo and
Cytomel
). As I no longer have a thyroid I would have thought the TSH no longer plays a role.....? Any comments would be appreciated!

I received a package today of
Cytomel
. Three boxes, 30 75mcg gel capsules each. Having been on 150mcg of Levothyroxine a day for over 10 years, can anyone tell me the correct way to take this new medication and how to reduce the Levo?
