Rising PSA after being off ADT for 16 months
One lymph was lit up on Auxium scan which led to
Cryotherapy
at Mayo Clinic. 3 months later PSA climbs again and that’s when ADT was begun. ADT was stopped at 6 months as Oncologist Wanted to try Intermittent therapy. PSA was undetectable for 16 months.

Understanding the Abscopal Effect and its Potential Role in Developing a Cure for Cancer-Part 1
with or w/o radiation or
cryotherapy
as well as possibly an infusion of an immune stimulator like GM-CSF or radiation therapy alone. "Well gee, Fish--with that much going on, then why are we not seeing more cures in PCa??"

Metastasis Directed Therapy (MDT) is here to stay for Oligometastatic Patients!!! Part (2) Cryo and Thermal Ablation
I would suggest we start using nanoparticles that can target small tumors using substances like PSMA or EGFR—see below: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2020/02/200224111332.htm So where is MDT headed regarding
cryotherapy
and thermal ablation??

My options in dealing with a metastasis
Cryosurgeon said that he would not do
cryotherapy
because he would not be able to get the entire met and there is no use in doing surgery if you are not getting 100% of the met. I agree with him on that.

Hello, Has anyone had HIFU?
I'm likely ruling out prostatectomy and radiation leaving
Cryotherapy
and HIFU (High-Intensity Ultrasound). HIFU would be my first choice automatically but the out of pocket expence is something I need to weigh. Does any one have experience with these two procedures?

Urine retention
While in there, he showed me scar tissue in my prostate from radiotherapy and
cryotherapy
. I never had surgery. He decided to leave the catheter in for a few days to “stretch” the tissue.

New Here and Glad I’ve found this Group – Anyone done Proton Therapy?
I looked into EBRT (external Beam radiation therapy), 3D-CRT, IMRT (intensity modulated Radiation), SBRT CyberKnife, (which a few of you guys here had positive things to say about this), seeding with Brachytherapy, both LDR and HDR, Ultrasound HIFU, MRI Laser Ablation,
Cryotherapy
, and finally Proton

Alternative therapies , any success stories
I was wondering if anybody had tried things like
cryotherapy
, turmeric shots things like that as an alternative or a complimentary way of dealing with RA or it’s associated conditions , I guess it depends on the severity of the disease

No withdrawal bleed when on combined pill?
Should probably also mention I had a colposcopy and
cryotherapy
(I think?) last summer as abnormal cells were found during my smear test.

Focal Cryotherapy and ED
I had focal
cryotherapy
3 months ago to the right side of my prostate. Since then, major issues with ED which I knew could be a side effect of the procedure but was hoping since they didn't touch the nerve bundles on the left side that I would be ok.

My primary doctor is reluctant to proscribe a CT scan or MRI scan with contrast. I have advanced Prostate cancer
Gleason 8, radiation,
cryotherapy
, and 3 rounds of Lupron. This has come up because I am having abdominal pain

Best new drugs for castrate-resistant PC?
Unfortunately, PC went outside capsule, so curative treatments like HIFU,
cryotherapy
, etc. won't work. I'm looking at new drugs; most-mentioned are abiraterone, enzalutamide, and apalutamide (while continuing ADT) -- or some combination.

Lowering tumour burden in metastatic cancer
I had a consultation yesterday with a
cryotherapy
specialist. My situation: after rising PSA (BCR), I had PSMA done 8 months ago. It showed seminal vesicle involvement but no mets, no lymph node involvement. My oncologist and I have been discussing what salvage options might be open.
