Cryotherapy

Have read about these options: Prostatectomy/Brachytherapy/Cystoprostatectomy/Cryotherapy Anybody have any knowledge or studies that might suggest a direction? Still hoping for the possibility of a cure and avoid the ADT train awhile.

The local pain management team conducted a couple of procedures on her knee using cryotherapy and radio therapy, but none have offered any relief. The pain killers don’t work, and what little quality of life she has is rapidly deteriorating. I don’t know what to do or where to turn next.

He already had Zytiga, Xtandi, radiation, cryotherapy, Immunotherapy and Taxotere... running out of options but fortunately, he is still feeling pretty good considering all.

My doctors are exploring cryotherapy, Brachy Therapy and surgery to remove the prostate. But ultimately, the final decision will be mine. I'm trying to understand the risk and success factors of each option. I was diagnosed 11/21 and started treatment 12/21.

MY WIFE HAS JUST BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH SKIN CANCER RIGHT ON THE TIP OF HER NOSE... want to know if the cure rate is just as effective with radiation, cryotherapy as with mohs surgery? In fact which of Radiation, Cryoblation and/or Mohs has the best cure rate ?

I also don't want to pursue local therapies (cryotherapy or high intensity ultrasound) for the same reason. That being said, it seems to goal should be to minimize adverse effects as long as the treatment is equally effective.

Any members of this group have experience with Cryotherapy for recurrent PCa post SBRT/hormone thy?

Basically it's a trial of a technique that treats a small part of a tumor with cryotherapy.

Hi all - I hope you’re all well, I got home earlier this evening after cryotherapy ablation this morning. All went well, I was as comfortable as I could have been, and the team caring for me were excellent. Unfortunately, half way through, I had an episode - first in almost a year.

Thanks fo any comments before I call a radiation oncologist to see if I can re irradiated s rat image guided brachytherapy cryotherapy or Gifu in order of preference. Lastly robotics

During the first few visits, my dermatologist used cryotherapy (freezing) to zap suspicious spots. As the years passed, she found a number of spots which she cut out during the visit and sent specimens off for analysis.

We are interested in someone open to things like cryotherapy (newly metastatic, low level) immunotherapy etc. Does anyone have recommendations of how to locate some doctors more open to all the options?
