PMR gone or has it?
My physio thinks it’s rotator cuff tendinitis and set me physio which I have continued .I also had a
cortisone
injection in the shoulder by the specialist but the pain in the shoulder and upper bicep persist. I can’t sleep on my left side due to the pain.

Frees at top of range - should I consider Levo decrease?
My last post discussed my blood results from 19 April. TSH. 0.01. (0.27-4.2) FT4. 24.9. (12-22) FT3. 6.5. (3.1-6.8) I am on 100 Levo. I said that I wasn’t sure my symptoms were thyroid related, especially as I feel much the same with my high frees as I did when

Aftermath of horrible pimply rash on skull with Ibrutinib
I could finally talk with my haematologist on January 4 after he had returned from his break and he suggested I should take an antihistamine as well as apply topical
cortisone
cream. I have been taking Polaramine 2 mg three times a day since then and it has worked.

Low Cortisol Level
Hello, I'm looking for advice again please. A couple of weeks ago I saw a Rheumatologist for the first time at my local NHS hospital who I have to say was very thorough & helpful. I have to have several x-rays taken and an ultrasound of my shoulders & in addition to this I have had blood tests taken.

New JAK2 diagnosis
Because of PMR (Polymyalgia Rheumatica) they test my blood regularly (some skipped because of covid running rampant here in the US), so I can see my platelets jump after I had three
cortisone
shots (one in Sept, one in Dec and one earlier this month) for two frozen shoulders and a swollen/painful knee

Appointment with endocrinologist
My GP referred me to an endocrinologist saying my cortisol levels are low. Had a telephone call with him yesterday. He said everyone taking pred has low cortisol levels and nothing to be done. However, he asked if I had some pred injections at home in case of severe sickness or an accident. I haven't

Effects of long term cortisone treatment
Does anyone know if there is any science about what happens in the body during and after longterm use of Pred? Is there any articles to read? My body is stiff and I have had a frozen shoulder and aching lower back since I stopped my treatment in April. I had a quite severe accident at work in January

Low cortisol levels
My rheumatologist did some blood work today and found that I have low cortisol levels. In fact she said that it was very very low. I can't remember the number she gave me. I don't take prednisone any more and haven't taken it for quite a while. She's going to have a talk with an endocrinologist and get
