Thank you in advance for any insight. These are my test results, sourced from a private company - Randox. I would be hugely grateful for any help in interpreting these or my symptoms. I have experienced severe weight gain - which NOTHING will shift including weight loss drugs. I have had a hormonal

Hi all It’s been a while since I posted on here. But I have a question regarding sleep. I have ET, Jak2, had it 7 years, and at the moment take aspirin and hydroxy. Had my telephone consultation yesterday and was pleased to hear my platelets are the lowest they’ve ever been at 355. Even though I

TSH and T4 range calculator thingy
Hi Last year I got lots of helpful advice on here. I'm feeling poorly again now and am trying to show my GP that I need more levo. There used to be a formula or calculator on here that would tell you where your result was within the range. Does anyone recognise what I am thinking of please, and

thyroid tablets
hi all I recently started armour tablets as I was still having symptoms with 100 of Levo with a TSH of 0.06. I feel slightly better with less tiredness and pain in legs. However the private prescription is costing me £130 a month. This is going to be difficult long term. Does anyone know of a different

Anyone had 2 blood tests with different labs to compare results?
Has anyone ever been unsure of their results and taken two tests around the same time eg. NHS and a private company ie. Blue Horizon to compare their results to see if there is much in the way of a difference in levels for accuracy purposes? The reason I ask is via my GP/NHS it's never guaranteed that

Exhaustion may not be thyroid related!
Hi all, just wanted to share my recent experience which came as a complete shock/surprise. So, usual story, feeling exhausted, needing to nap all the time, barely able to function. This feeling has been even worse since new year, barely able to get out of bed. Now, I knew I was a poor converter and needed

Annual NHS Blood Test
Hi, I’ve just had my annual thyroid blood test and I am absolutely speechless…… When I checked my results it showed that the NHS test only checked my TSH, the NHS didn't even check my T4 as the standard annual check. We have no chance of them completing a full thyroid blood test. Luckily for me
