Thyroid bloods graves
I have finally managed to get my latest blood results added to my NHS app so I can share. This is all new to me so I’m not sure what the results really mean, Graves was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago but I can’t find that test in my app. I’m back on Carbimazole after not taking them for a week as I

Hi, I was diagnosed with PA in 2013/14 and was given injections for a while but that stopped a good few years ago. I had tests done via Endo a while back and they said my levels were fine despite no injections/supplements. I had tests done in May 2023 and the active b12 came back as high. It showed

Help Interpreting Results
Hi. Can I have advice on results? These are from a while back for anyone who has read my recent posts. I was on 1 tablet of T3 a day at this point. I previously had high thyroid antibodies but the LDN I take seems to have lowered them to be in range. I was wondering if the same has happened with pernicious

Could increasing Levothyroxine push me into hyperthyroidism
Hello, my TSH level is 2.35, up from 1.49 two years ago. I asked my GP for an increase in Levothyroxine as I felt better when my TSH level was lower. He said I was in the range and if he increased the medication from 100 to 125 he risked pushing me into hyper. Is this correct? I assumed the blood test

TSH and T4 raising on medications
Hi Initially, my TSH level was 8 mIU/L (normal range 0.4 to 4.0 mIU/L), with T3 and T4 within normal ranges. Upon starting a 0.25 euthyrox (T4) dosage, my TSH surged to 18, coinciding with the onset of mild discomfort in my rectal area, which I suspect may be hemorrhoids. Despite a dosage increase to

Starting T3
Hi I had appointment with private GP and the plan is for me to start T3. I am currently taking 75/100 mg Levothyroxine alternate days. My latest results were TSH 1.28, T3 4, T4 20.4 I’m told my conversion rate is poor at 5.1. It’s suggested that I take 2.5 mcg 3 times a day to begin. If I feel ok after

What is - Thyroid Peroxidase Abs test? High level result.
Hi everyone, I posted a little while ago about my symptoms and test results which were only partly done and resistance from GP to do anything more. Your advice was likely hypothyroidism and to get second opinion. And lots of links to lots of very good information (thanks 😊). I had to wait but

Trial of eConsult service
My GP practice has recently launched the eConsult service where it said I could get the results of tests etc, so I tried it. I asked for the results from a recent blood test, and gave the date and time. The one that was supposed to be just vitamins. I had one email back saying the request would be

Did I mess up my blood tests?
Yesterday I went to have blood tests after being diagnosed with hypothyroidism a month ago. I took 25mcg of levythyroxine (?) before having the test but have now read on here that I shouldn't have done this? My TSH levels were 9.5 last month but are now back to normal but maybe this is why? I am in

mixing different t3 meds
I was taking cytomel for 6 years. Tsh went successfully down, but I never could reach normal ft3 because of my poor adrenals. Now when my thyroid worsened, tsh went from 0 to 4,5, anti TPO increased and anti TG appeared though never had them before, ft4 at lowest and ft3 aroung middleof the range. I

FSH test results (FSH is as important as AMH?)
AMH is largely talked about on this forum but FSH is less so. I am super worried about my FSH lately. In a recent test (October) my FSH came back high so that caused the clinic to demand updated day 2-3 FSH tests. I had to do that on day 1 (as day 2 would be Sunday and Monday I was busy). I decided

Having problems
Hi, Managed to get myself somewhat stable after a crisis period in December/January, and felt the best I had in ages on a dose of 100 mcg, TSH of 0.07 {Range:0.27-4.2}, and T4 of 19 {Range 12-22}. not without symptoms, but better than 95% of the time on dose. T3 was not done despite request from

Stem cell therapy
Hi everyone, Is there any one who had done stem cell ovarian therapy? My doctor recommended since my AMH dropped really low to 0.4 from last year which was 0.9. Hope somebody's gone through this and share the experience with me. 🙏

TPO ab dropped to 'normal' levels
Good Morning all! I'm not here very often these days because largely thanks to the advice and support of the superstars here, my thyroid medication has been under control for a few years now. I hope this is a beacon of hope for those of you still battling through. I take my NHS t4 and I supplement
