Coronavirus - usual sensible advice sought please
Hi - I’m WFH and really limiting my time outside- truly only essential food shopping and mainly exercise done in the house or garden. Might walk couple of times a week outside in a very quiet area. My worry is should I be more cautious? Had a stent fitted in September 2019. Am very fit and healthy other

Last few months running has become impossible without chest pains and becoming breathless.
For some reason my fitness has took a nosedive over the last 2 months. I had a double stent fitted in Feb last year. I was back running and boot camping after 6 weeks. Training up to 10k again not as fast, around the hour mark as I didn't want to push it. I had been at the 48 min mark before the stents

Dad won't accept he has hypoxic brain injury after cardiac arrest
Hi, Me and my family are really struggling as my dad just won't accept that he has a brain injury although it is visibly obvious to us. We are also finding it really difficult as he does not want to adhere to a newer set of health rules such as not smoking, drinking or eating healthier in order to recover

One kidney has low function
Diagnosed with hydronephrosis with upj obstruction (congenital), I am in my 50's . Nuclear scan showed 100% function on left 0% on right. Had stent put in to see if there would be any kidney function. New scan showed 20 % function in right. Do doctors repair kidneys with 20% function?

Feeling low
Hello all I had MI in January 2017. St segment damage and one stent. Following the event I changed my lifestyle completely, became vegan, exercise regularly and have had no symptoms. My last scan last year my ef had gone up to 46% from 35 after the HA. Last month I had a echocardiogram and got the results

Tingling after stent put in
Hi, I had a stent fitted 2 days ago and since last night I have had discomfort in my left shoulder and a sort of numb slightly tingly feeling in my arms and across my shoulders. Could this be to do with all the meds I am taking, or just the trauma and my body adjusting. I’ve got no chest discomfort but

Why am I still classed ss having heart desease?
I had one stent fitted 23 years ago. Since then I have climbed some of the most difficult mountains in the UK. I've completed 6 half marathons. Go on walking holidays twice each year. I continued going to the gym twice a week until I was 70 (I'm now 75). The only reason I stopped going to the gym was

The main underlying health condition in men under 65 dying from coronavirus is ischmaetic heart disease.
I have just read an analysis published in the Daily Mail online about underlying health conditions and mortality in covid 19 patients in the UK. For men under 65 the main condition was ischmaetic heart disease. Just wondered if anyone aged under 65 and male and had a bypass or stent had received a shielding

Numb Thigh After Heart Bypass
Hi All, Bit odd this but after undergoing a double CABG a month ago I have noticed that my right thigh is partially numb with a reduced ability to feel anything (very similar to the left side of my chest which I was expecting). I didn't have any blood vessels harvested from my legs so it's not due to
