The B1 Protocol and Constipation
My reasoning for giving up on oral B1 is as follows: Like many who suffer from Parkinson's, I have frequent and chronic
constipation
, and I think that this may "muddy the waters" when it comes to finding an optimal oral dosage of B1, because for me and those like me, there is no single optimal dosage

holiday jealousy
I suffer with
constipation
and I have to take an hour out in the afternoon to deal with it via suppositories. That will severely curtail any holidays for me. I have tried to speak to my husband about this but he doesn't get it -
constipation
for me is very painful.

I barley ever get
constipation
unless taking a plane, which seems random and I'd like to know if anyone else out there gets the same thing. Maybe a bit of dehydration ! The main thing is that plain food with not too much fibre tends to be best for me.

Do We Really "Have" Afib?
After dealing with Afib for several years, I came to understand that it was primarily and almost consistently triggered by trapped gas and bloating in my gut, from
constipation
and eating the wrong things, which moved to my chest and confused my vagus nervous system.

Which is the worst - Prednisolone or Methatrexate?
I don’t want to be taking co-codomol daily as it causes uncomfortable
constipation
and I fear if taken daily, it could reduce its effectiveness, but if pain killers address the pain – then are the pains adrenals/reduction related and not PMR?

Mucus, blood, and blood clots
Either it's
constipation
or diarrhea; there's no in-between.For the past 6months Ive seen a mucus in my stool. Sometimes that's all there is?? For the past few days I've been bleeding as well...like a lot. I see clots as well.

Constipation
, still feel I want to go all the time. Discomfort in the bladder and urethra which I never had before I started on the meds. I eat high fibre foods and drink as much as I can. Just wondering if anyone else with has
constipation
with these, what to relieve it. I do take laxatives.

Constipation relief
What a relief to be regular after years of
constipation
. I didn’t realise that my diet was contributing to this condition. For around 2 years I ate almost daily, 2 boiled eggs for breakfast and a daily banana sometimes two. I have been prescribed Laxido and find it difficult to regulate .

IBS is not a Disease; It is a condition.
I am looking forward to more improvement, but I thank God and the neurologist every day that I no longer suffer from gas, bloat,
constipation
, incomplete evacuation, pain, vertigo, nausea. I am able to lead a normal life now.

We both wondered if the tailbone pain might be due to severe
constipation
or is it a known feature of CES? We would appreciate any replies from sufferers with personal experience as the doctors and specialists are attributing it to bowel issues!

Nausea
I flit between diarrhea and more lately
constipation
. I've never once been sick, it's just nausea. I notice the pattern that it's worse in the hour before I need to go to the toilet so it's almost like my body is hating digesting food ready to poop which I think is another issue of IBS?

Xeloda causing hand redness and extreme tenderness ... playing phone tag with onc's nurse
At first I had alot of
constipation
and more recently it's been the opposite! I wear Depends (a brand of "adult diapers") all the time now. It's all so yucky! My body no longer sends me reliable info about what's happening with my bowels, and that can lead to real messes.

Feeling "weird" after final chemo
Have been so lucky and more or less sailed through treatment apart from loss of taste and
constipation
. I had a slight cough and cold on Friday when I had my treatment but perfectly well enough to continue.

Hence forth, things I shall ignore.
Studies which rely wholly on the UPDRS – because he UPDRS does not measure
constipation
, depression, anxiety, or any non-motor symptoms which account for most symptoms and because any drug company knows or should know it’s limitations.

Salbutamol inhaler
I suffer from IBS with
constipation
and regularly experience cramp in my rectum (it feels like I need to pass a motion but can't). The other night I was so desperate that I contacted NHS 111. The nurse who called me back listened and then suggested that a Salbutamol inhaler might help.

All good
For 2 years on and off at least 4 times I suffered with bouts of
constipation
followed by really bad stomach pains and diarrhoea. Didn't concern me at the time until I noticed blood was sick and blood mucus in stool.
