Scheduled for SBRT
On Tuesday I am scheduled to begin a new road in this cancer journey. Five years ago I had a lumpectomy for breast cancer and while setting me up for follow up radiation they discovered a mass in my lung which turned out to be adenocarcinoma. Three months after the lumpectomy, I had a left upper lobectomy

Spots on brain discovery
Hi all. Since my last post about Apalutamide I've had a very bumpy journey, being admitted to hospital with a virus (not Covid19, they checked) and the biggest shock, having a headache, subsequent MRI revealing tumour spots on the brain. So this is very rare apparently and I'm now on a ten day radiotherapy

In need of advise for my father
Hello everyone. My father was diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 PCa in another country (2017). He immediately had bi-lateral orchiectomy, and thereafter when the PSA began to rise, he was prescribed Xtandi (lasted ~6 months) and subsequently had some radiotherapy to the pelvis and spine (pain management

Couldn't wait anymore!
After more than 4 months of no PSA test , I finally confronted the Covid-19 intimidation and got the test.It came back <0.003 again. It's almost one year of ADT(next month) after my oligometatasis CK radiotherapy. I don't know which of them is working.... may be both! My question is ...is it time to

MULTITUDINOUSLY MOTIVATED MESSAGE FOR THE MAGNIFICENT MONTH OF MAY
Okay, this is a bit of a ramble including a few things I wanted to get off my chest, so skip it if you are in a hurry, but if you are like me and have found that time has become much more fluid during lockdown, please read on. May is a glorious month. The swallows, martins and swifts are wheeling exuberantly

Lung cancer update
It's been a long time since I posted and much has happened. A tumor in my lung which my oncologist and I have been following for 3 years has finally reached the point where we are looking into treatment options. The most promising one so far is stereoscopic radiation therapy. An appointment was originally

Perineural invasion after RP: next steps?
A friend of mine has Gleason 7 PCa. He chose to have the RP. During a follow-up consultation he was informed that there were no positive margins, and there was no lymph node or seminal vesicle involvement. The report he was handed noted that he was positive for perineural invasion. He didn't catch

Bladder Cancer Blood Test
I have damage to my bladder as a result of Prostate Cancer Guided Radiation Treatment, in 2013. I have had a couple of instances this year of small clots, in my urine. The last Urologist that used a scope up my penis to check for Bladder Cancer, a few years ago, caused a lot of pain and bleeding. I

Chemotherapy again!!! 😜😕🙄
Hello ladies, I am now on chemotherapy after 6 years again. I did radiotherapy before 3 years cause of bone Mets, since then I took Ibrance for 2,5 years and Femara. Before 3 months at my 6months scans and labs, we found new Mets in bones so my doctor decide to start chemo and a new pill 'Aromestan'.

PSA 3.12 after 3/17 radical prostatectomy. Future treatment thoughts?
I'm new to Advanced Prostate Cancer, moving "up" from Prostate Cancer Network due to recent pathology results after da Vinci radical prostatectomy (RP) on March 17 in Spokane, WA, with Dr. Raymond Lance, who had more than 2,000 da Vinci RPs under his belt. I feel very good about this choice. Surgery
