one high level radiotherapy

hi everyone

My last mri has shown my small bit of tumour left has grown a few mm as it’s in the middle of my vein surgery is to risky therefore I need radiotherapy, was wondering if anyone else has had this and have any advice. Ta

hi there. Yes I had regrowth too and just completed six weeks of targeted radiotherapy to hopefully stop my friend!

I will have another mri in six months. All the best to you.

Yes - the worst being the fatigue - just so very tired all the time. A little nausea and some hair loss but the fatigue was quite overwhelming.

Everyone reacts differently to it so I hope all goes well for you.

Hi, I had 6 weeks of radiotherapy last summer due to a tiny regrowth, my friend sits on brain stem! It wants bad thought, staff lovely and took literally 10 minutes each day! No hair loss at all, did feel quite sick and lightheaded after 3/4 weeks but ginger biscuits help. Had MRI in February and have appointment in a couple of weeks to let me know results to see if it worked and stopped it growing!

I called mine glody golf ball don’t know why I wrote a poem about it before my surgery in feb 21. Best wishes for your results soon take care
