We started him on
Concerta
18mg for two days and I couldn't see any changes so as directed by his psychiatrist we increased the mg to 36 starting yesterday.

Methylphenidate (Ritalin) and the diagnosis game
Hello everyone :) I'm about to try and get methylphenidate (Ritalin in the US,
Concerta
in the UK) on the NHS. I'm in a weird position, because they refuse to believe my brain injury is real. The official diagnosis is "medically unexplained symptoms", which in treatment terms gets you zilch.

Confused at 54?
The only thing that he seems to think helps him is
Concerta
which wakes him up. His sexual dysfunction seems to be physical and mental, can't do it and doesn't care that he can't. I feel like I'm living with an alien sometimes. Parkinsons has destroyed our relationship for the most part.

Has anyone had RLS symptoms happening mainly in there toes and feet.
I have a lot of unhealthy intake but also a lot of healthy intake too and I am incredibly skinny (Like see-my-ribs-in-the-mirror-skinny 😂) I am on the antidepressant Zoloft, as well as Rispertal, and
Concerta
for mood stabilizaton, and focus help because of my ADHD.

PD or LBD and what about me?
Neuro Psych gave him
Concerta
to wake him up which helps a lot, but too much made him really nasty/angry and threatened our relationship for good. My question isn't really about him, but me...How do I live like this forever?

Alcohol and TS medications - What's the effect?
Can I drink alcohol with all the medication I take, i.e. risperidone,
concerta
, clonidine? What effects will it have? Could it make me ill – the interaction of medication and alcohol? Question from Tourettes Action's Research Conference 'Understanding TS' 30 Nov 2010
