Liothyronine & Colesevelam
I’ve been given
Colesevelam
& will take one tablet 3 times a day with meals. My question is how long before and after I take it can I take my thyroid meds? I understand it effects the absorption of the thyroid meds.

Bile acid malabsorption
I was diagnosed with bile acid malabsorption last year and was prescribed
colesevelam
tablets. At first they were fine but then gave me really bad stomach pains which radiated through to my back.

More medications
It’s called
Colesevelam
625mg. The problem is, I’ve to start with 1 tablet twice per day working on adding 1 more tablet after each week until I reach 2 tablets 3 times per day. The prescription says take with food, avoid other meds 4 hours prior and after taking.

Suffering with Bile Acid / Bile Salt Malabsorption
I have been taking
Colesevelam
tablets for the condition which I was diagnosed with about 18 months ago following 2-3 years of typical IBS symptoms, but the severity increased drastically last year and I was signed off work for 4 months.

BILE ACID MALL ABSORPTION
Also there is another newer, more easily tolerated medication called :
COLESEVELAM
but I don't think it is licensed here in the UK. Is there anybody who is taking either Colestipol or
Colesevelam
who are able to help me as I don't know anybody else who takes this medication.

What is going on in me?
I was given
Colesevelam
, with no explanation. I still have all the same symptoms as before. I am wondering if anybody has had a similar experience and what should I be pushing the doctors for now. Thanks for you time in reading this long winded essay. Kevin.
