Does anyone else get episodes when their heart rate goes very low? I’m in AF the whole time and the only medication I’m on is propranolol. Since being AF my heart rate has increased but not massively and I tend to be around 80bpm. As far as I can tell my heart rate never goes above 100 unless with

Heart Rate Monitors
This may be a silly question but I'm a little confused. Whenever I see a doctor I'm often asked if I have a heart rate monitor and a blood pressure machine that can deal with AF. My BP machine can't detect AF but seems to be accurate otherwise when compared to readings at my GP. When it comes to heart

Normal test results after CKD diagnosis
Not sure how you can go from a you have
CKD
diagnosis to normal 3 weeks later? But not complaining if this is correct. Original GFE result was 51, next 57 so dumbfounded being told latest is ok I didn't ask about number on this one. I'm 61 so GFE so should be 60 or over.

Hello everyone - I'm 68 and have had AF for about 2 years. Apart from a brief conversation re cardioversion and ablation when I was 1st diagnosed, none of the cardiologists I have seen have suggested that I should have cardioversion. I am currently taking 10mg of Bisoprolol a day in two 5mg tablets,

Do you know the difference between a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and a heart attack?
Would you be able to tell the difference between a Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and a Heart Attack? If so, would you know what to do? A sudden cardiac arrest is often misunderstood to be the same as a heart attack.

Worried
I am now extremely worried about having had a ct scan with contrast. I knew nothing about the contrast as I was just feeling very ill at the time. I am now petrified that this is going to cause me all sorts of problems with my hypothyroidism. I've not been feeling great with various issues going on with

Waiting for ablation
I started in Afib June 2022 after covid, was diagnosed in August and put on Edoxaban and bisoprolol by my GP. In October I was seen by a specialist and put on Amiodarone (I've mentioned the side effects before.. thanks for the responses) and put on the waiting list for a cardioversion. That was done
