PSA Question
I updated my husbands profile to show his PSA went from -- 2.08 in January to... 1.73 in February 1.77 in March 1.78 in April His next test is 6/6. It has never gotten lower than 1.24 back in December of 2022. Is it normal for some people to not have an extremely low PSA? He

Hi all,Recently started levo for underactive thyroid, have been feeling not quite right for a long time, think it all kicked off when my husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2019 when our baby was only 6months old. Thankfully it was caught early and after surgery and chemo he was given the all clear.

Joint pain.
Does anyone have a suggestion for joint pain? My husband has had prostate removed 2017, on Xtandi for 15 months, then Chemo, now on his 2nd cycle out of 6 of Radium 223. He has about once a week, severe joint pain in his knee. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Tall Allen, look forward to hearing

Possible thyroid removal

Day 3 on Xeloda
My first real "
chemotherapy
" since diagnosed with denovo MBC in March 2004, almost 19 years ago. I've done so well and feel really fortunate! I'm still having to use a walker to get around. I have neuropathy in my lower legs and feet (and hands as well) from damage from spinal stenosis.

Zometa Tips???
After 12 years of surgery, EBRT, ADT1 and ADT2, chemo, SBRT, and completing 6 doses of Pluvicto my PSA is down to 0.10. Other than dealing with persistent anemia, I'm feeling pretty good!I just learned, however, that my MO wants to start me on Zometa. I won't know the dosage, timing, etc., until the

Still here today
Lupron,
chemotherapy
, and Zytiga. Started the treatment in March 2022. In August my PSA was undetectable. I'm still taking Zytiga and Lupron and my oncologist started me on Xgeva. Just saw my oncologist on Dec. 27th and my PSA is still undetectable. So far, so good.

Chemotherapy yesterday, Labs before show PSA 6 pts higher…
Concern about rise in PSA, also on
chemotherapy
and had his 5th session yesterday… The lab work was prior to
chemotherapy
So, could the PSA test be skewed by the new immune suppressant Oztela / Ampremilast for his psoriasis?

Then I got what amounted to a lecture about how there are methods to treat cancer that worked with the body and were "co-operative" vs. all of these adversarial methods (like I was using) although they didn't come out and directly criticise me doing
