Male fertility & Advice
When I was 15 (2008) I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma Disease and required
chemotherapy
. I was told it could impact on fertility with the chances being 50/50. I was asked to provide a sample but chose not to. Now in my 30s I am trying for a baby with my partner.

Asking for my dad!!
I am meanwhile trying to get some second opinions for getting him started on
chemotherapy
as I have seen so many people benefitting from triplet therapy. Its just hard as his medical onco has convinced him that it is not needed at the moment. I want some assurance and some direction here!

Update re ASCT relapse
Due to my cll returning and having had several new lines of treatment my consultants both my Cll specialist and my transplant specialist have offered me Rchop
chemotherapy
as one of my few options. This treatment I believe is not used to treat cll but used to treat lymphomas.

Swimming advice
I can understand, Yet I have seen that many patients undergoing
chemotherapy
are still swimming so it seems views do differ on this. As you can imagine, I miss it so much, I'm losing muscle tone (probably because I've lost weight too during treatment) and I cannot wait to get back to it.

Following SOC here in BC Canada
Started
chemotherapy
again and had 7 cycles of Docetaxel then switched over to cabazitaxel for 2 cycles so far. They want me to do 10 cycles or until it fails. I recently went to BC cancer in Vancouver to try and get on a trial for Lu177 and they told me they were none available.

Help to do BAT treatment for my dad. Located in Norway.
Increasing PSA from 6-12 on
chemotherapy
through last summer. September he was put on Xtandi which unfortunately gave him horrible side effects and we had to stop. His cancer has now starting to spread to his vertebrae, pelvis, femur and 3 lymphnodes in his chest cavity.

A quick introduction
Apparently I responded well to the treatment as my MO put my
chemotherapy
on “pause” after four rounds. PSA had come down to 0.78. I see my MO again on January 5th and we will determine where we go from here, I supposed based on the results of my blood “labs.”
