Hi, I was diagnosed last April (stage 2b nsclc bumped up to stage 3a as tumour grew a little) and started treatment in the June...chemoradiotherapy.

Hello everyoneI am a 64 year old woman, treated for rectal cancer with chemoradiotherapy with temporary stoma in 2009.

My radiologist and nurse there are so lovely and kind and understanding. 8 years of my researching and demanding to be heard has really paid off for me and I positively encourage anyone who is struggling with long term late side effects from chemoradiotherapy to keep going.

I had Papillon treatment followed by 5x5 chemoradiotherapy. I seemed to be recovering quite well until December when I had a sigmoidoscopy and polyps were removed. I have trouble finding anything I can eat that doesn't either make me constipated or have diarrhea.

I had chemoradiotherapy 14 years ago for SCC rectum. The cause of LS is not known though trauma to the skin is thought to be one contributory factor.

Treatment was 6 wkeeks chemoradiotherapy. NED since. However I have all the symptoms and more mentioned on this site. I am so grateful I kept up the research and found you all. I’ve noticed that my symptoms are getting worse.

Hi there, I have all the digestive issues you'd expect. I'm chronically constipated and take sodium docusate 8-10 per day. I had a very large spleen and compromised immune system. I'm 3 years post treatment. A large dose of b12 reduced the spleen to near normal but if it falls below 1000 it starts to

finished chemoradiotherapy 7 weeks ago (for vaginal cancer). Developed severe pain in the bowel/rectum, which feels a bit like labour pain/period pain in the back. It’s constant and I’m taking naproxen and paracetamol daily.

So after a lot of stress and going from stage 2b to stage 3 my first week of chemoradiotherapy has finished, weekend off before vinorelbine capsules Monday and back on the radiotherapy. Didn't expect to feel so rough after first week and looking for advice please.

I had radical chemoradiotherapy treatment for 6 weeks in July / August that year. After initially being told the tumour had been greatly reduced in size, I was given the ‘all clear’. However, in June this year, an endoscopy indicated histological evidence of local recurrence of cancer cells!

I had chemoradiotherapy for 5 weeks that went well and IL surgery 7 weeks ago. I was discharged from hospital 7 days after surgery. I struggled with pain at first, the epidural didn’t work on my right side so I was is considerable discomfort.

Hi everyone, today found out it is 2b cervical cancer and they want to do an intensive chemoradiotherapy , is there anyone here who has started or going through this, any hints how to make this as comfortable as possible and i also wondering if you would like to be email pals... x thanks and love you

I have early stage cancer. i have been offered surgery or chemoradiotherapy. Has anyone had this choice? also they cannot move my stomach up so they need to use my colon. Can you eat as well with the colon? Feeling worried.

I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The options have been discussed with me and my husband also my consultant Rheumatologist The first option was a mastectomy but due to my other medical conditions that for the time being is not an option plus chemo,radiotherapy and some of the hormone drugs. However

I started a combination of chemoradiotherapy at the end of October. I was to have two sessions of chemo three weeks apart and thirty three sessions of radiotherapy to run concurrently.

If metastasis has occurred, then chemoradiotherapy or hospice care may be appropriate.
