Hello everyoneI am a 64 year old woman, treated for rectal cancer with chemoradiotherapy with temporary stoma in 2009. I have had endless bladder and bowel issues since, and been hospitalized with numerous infections since the temporary stoma reversal - last infection of that type 2017, but now lots of UTIs. Also lymphoedema, well controlled most of time.

I'm having to self-catheterize and so far have not managed to do it other than sitting down due to skin damage and very narrow urethra. Can any lady here advise on how to self-catheterize in public toilets, especially ones in far flung places which may only be a hole in the ground?? I want to be able to continue working through my bucket list of places to visit now I'm retired!! Not to mention climbing mountains at home, which I still do, but toileting issues are looming larger now. But it won't stop me, I just need to work out how to do it- any tips gratefully received. Thank you.
