Good evening I am wondering if you can help me to relay this back to my husband so that I can speak to his G.P or he can, sorry if this sounds confusing, but he has been taking Cerecten 20mg for some months now, and I had a peep at the side effects and out of the many you can get with these is not at

Breathlessness
I have on occasion remarked about my increasing breathlessness, Ten days ago I went for an echocardiogram, and on Wednesday this week the doctor rang with the results, it seems I have a calcified aortic valve which is restricting the blood flow around my body. The doctor is sending me to a clinic

5 1/2 years post ablation
It is so nice to come back to this group and find some familiar names still helping other people. My ablation was successful but with difficult 2 months recovery. A few times I had short episodes of general weakness with shortness of breaths. Every time it happened was after having coffee. Now things

MUSIC THERAPY FOR ALIEN HAND
My husband who suffers from
CBD
is increasingly plagued by his hand clenching and clawing, especially at night. We have tried different objects, such as a rubber ball and rolled up towels but they don't ease the problem.

How to stop irregular heartbeat and is there medicine to take for this
I just had an irregular heartbeat for 14 ½ hours. My blood pressure was down during part of this time. Lowest point 78/60 my heart beat was not above 93 at the highest point, it was fluctuating. I didn’t know how to get this to stop and return to normal. Is there medicine that I can take for this

Did I have a misdiagnosed heart attack?
I went to the ED a while back for flu-like symptoms and fever after a surgery. They admitted me due to elevated troponin levels (243) and tachycardia at rest (118bpm). I had an EKG, echo, and chest xray, but was only told they looked "fine". I was eventually discharged with the one word diagnosis "pericarditis

What happens next please?
Advice sought from those further on the path please. I had a successful cardio version in July after 6.5 months of high rate permanent AF not well controlled by digoxin, bisoprolol, furosemide, and apixaban. I was told to just stop the digoxin after the cardio version which left me on 10mg of bisoprolol

Moderna Spikevax Bi valent vaccine
Hi Everyone, I had my fourth vaccine on Wednesday morning. I’ve not had problems with either the Astra Zeneca or Pfizer but this time is different. I’ve had all of the listed side effects. Was really poorly by the evening and have been having long runs of increased heart rate and ectopics ever

Myocardial perfusion test results
I had the myocardial perfusion test back in July to rule out coronary artery problems causing my episodes of breathlessness. Promised the results in 2 weeks but have only just had them following numerous ephone calls to various departments at the heart institute. I have not been told the test was 'positive

Today (1/10) I've had both my autumn covid jab & my flu jab -so glad to get that part over On 5/10 I've got another Gas test (in my earlobe -I think the idea of that is to see how much oxygen & carbon dioxide is in my blood - with a view to telling me whether i need oxygen longterm It concerns

Clonidine given mainly for ADHD patients
I have been given Clonidine to help bring down my blood pressure. I can tolerate two a day but so far taking any more is difficult. They make me very dizzy and headachy. I tried taking a third one for two weeks but found I was having episodes where I lost control of my eyeballs. They just rolled

AF and the flu and COVID injections
I have had PAF for some 10 years now and it has always been triggered by an infection of some sort. Each time apart from once I was converted back into sinus rhythm by DC Cardiovsion. This week I went into fast AF again and was again taken to hospital. At the time I was not able to put my finger on

Clarification needed regarding the abbreviation "PAF"
I don't follow the postings here very often, so my apologies if my question is redundant or one I ought to know the answer to. I was just reading a post where there was a question about the use of anti-coagulants. The poster and several respondents used the abbreviation "PAF." My first thought was
