Moderna Spikevax Bi valent vaccine

Hi Everyone,

I had my fourth vaccine on Wednesday morning. I’ve not had problems with either the Astra Zeneca or Pfizer but this time is different. I’ve had all of the listed side effects. Was really poorly by the evening and have been having long runs of increased heart rate and ectopics ever since. My pulse was 120 for most of Wed night. No pain except with some of the ectopics, just very uncomfortable. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve tried to register this on the yellow card scheme but the web site keeps crashing. Should I be seeking medical advice or will everything settle again soon. I resorted to taking an extra 10mg Propranolol last night to calm it down.

Hi, I also have had awful problems with very irregular heartbeats since the spikevax booster after no side effects from the previous 3 pfizer jabs. Hope you now feeling better.

Thank you Chloe, I had to see my GP this morning about blood test results so told him about this. He’s reassured me it will calm down. Thanks also to Meadfoot. Sometimes we all just need that extra bit of support 🙏

My wife and I had Spikevax last Thursday. Leaflet we were given says 1 in 10 will experience some form of mild reaction. I had no reaction, wife (has PAF) had a mild fever and chills. Her reaction kicked about 18 hours after injection and lasted about 12 hours.

Hello Oldacre-girl,

I had my flu vaccine and the covid booster last Wednesday , Thursday onwards (less than 24 hours after vaccines )I’ve been having lots of fluttering feelings in my chest , I did get checked over as it made me feel quite odd . I have a pacemaker but I’ve never had these kind of palpitations . No connection has been made between vaccines and palpitations but it seems as if quite a few others have been having the problem too . I had different vaccines for the first three and no reactions .

Thank you Westie. Pleased to report that things seem to be settling down now after nine days. Much better to have the vaccine than have Covid, but my goodness, that was rough! Hope everyone else who reacted badly is feeling better now.

I’m still not feeling right 8 days on. Lots of brief episodes of feeling lightheaded , palpitations after I walk around , eat or drink .

Sorry to hear you’re still not feeling well. Hope you get your stress test soon as I feel you won’t relax until you do, but try to hang on to the fact that all the tests you have had so far have been fine. I know it’s really hard (I’ve had PVCs and PACs for nearly 40 years and they still freak me out at times). Good luck with the test.
