Any advice on cold remedies?
I wonder if anyone can help, after returning from holiday I have terrible
catarrh
. I have it every time I fly, I think the air conditioning gets me.

Catarrh
Have suffered for a long time with
Catarrh
running down back of throat even when admitted to hospital with pneumonia when asked about symptoms I said I had a cold with cough and
catarrh
in throat , this is still a major problem or question is it?

should I be worried?
However for many months I have been concerned that I wake in the morning feeling what I can only describe as 'clogged up' in my chest, then coughing quite a few times and bringing up globules of clear
catarrh
or phlegm.

Constant phlegm in throat (not lungs?) that's stuck and rattling when i breathe ;(
At this point i gave up on the Doctor, who told me, as i sit there not fully breathing but i had only 1 hour earlier been screaming and crying outside hacking and re-swallowing this
catarrh
, that is was 'normal' and there was nothing he could do.

Piggin anxiety!
But how can anxiety cause all the
catarrh
. I spoke to a chemist this morning and he was pretty sure I have an infection. I must admit I do panic when I get a new symptom and I've never had anything like this before,it's horrible!

Catarrh - I don't know if this is also your experience but I have a build up of this if I take any cow's milk products. Switching to
goat's milk seems to have solved it. Otherwise I'd have to sit up to swallow thus resulting in interrupted sleep.

Advice on non-allergic rhinitis needed please.
After this, I was left with what I would describe as low level
catarrh
- which is most troublesome at night.

Asthma and Milk Allergy/Intolerance
I did this but have now found the problem has crept back; every time I have milk or food that contains milk I have
catarrh
and coughing and my voice goes. I have now taken all milk from my diet as I do not want my asthma to go out of control again.

IBS and catarrh
Quick question, Does anyone else suffer
catarrh
along with their IBS. I had never been one to suffer with this before but since a flare up of IBS c,I seem to have it constantly. I have mentioned it to doc but he doesn't seem too bothered tbh.

Looks like I'm taking a few days off...
More shivering, more snot (now with added
catarrh
) and my wife works weekends, so more time alone with my three year-old daughter who seems to have the same bug and yet still manages to be perky.

General Advice
I've also suffered with
catarrh
for years too. Does anyone suffer from similar problems? I'm not sure if I should go back to my GP and see if there are any better treatmentts available. I get prescribed antihistemines for hay fever but only really get that during spring/summer. Cheers Jackie
